Don’t mind me while I get a little introspective.

2025 has been a year of internal growth. From expanding myself at work and in training, to finding what truly makes me happy personally. I couldn’t have done it without the village of people around me both near and far. Cheers to the hardships and joys 2025 has brought me. I look forward to what 2026 holds for me 💚

Did a meet at 67kg. Haven’t competed since 69kg was a weight class.

Made some, missed some… missed some that should have been made.

After 7 years I’ve made the difficult decision to leave @dcweightlifting. Today was my last training session with the team and although I’m excited for a new adventure I would be remise if I did not express my gratitude to @michaelichoi and the team for everything they have taught me (and allowed me to teach them) over the years. In my career with DC Weightlifting, I’ve competed in 15 meets, became a level 2 coach and a national referee. DCW also gave me the platform to become elected as one of our WSO representatives. I’ve coached at nationals, AO Finals, World Masters, and countless local meets all thanks to DC Weightlifting and Mike for his mentorship and guidance. I’m going to miss training with this group and I can only hope that I’ve made a small impact on their lives in return of the huge impact this team has had on mine. 🤍🤍🤍
