They might have lost the game but this backhand from @smc_mwp made it all the way to #2 on the @sportscenter Top 10!

Noah Bigara with the big goal but @calmwaterpolo gets the win in the first-ever meeting between the two East Bay schools.

NCAA NEXT. THE FRESHMEN ENTERING THE RADAR.

A new college season means new names, new opportunities — and the first signs of who may be ready to make an impact.

YARE is tracking the next generation.

LEO HACHEM | SAINT MARY’S | CANADA
25 goals through 11 games.
9 at the Princeton Invitational.
3 against #12 Princeton.
A freshman already producing like an established collegiate scorer.

DECLAN BARTLETT | NAVY
The freshman attacker continued his introduction to college water polo with two goals on the final day of the Navy Open.
Early days — but a name worth keeping on the radar.

OLIVER MARCIN | PRINCETON
4 goals.
2 assists.
2 steals.
6 exclusions drawn.
3 field blocks.

Not just scoring. A two-way contribution across multiple areas of the game.

Three freshmen.
Three very different early impacts.

And this is only the beginning.

YARE NCAA NEXT will follow the players whose performances are beginning to demand attention — beyond goals, beyond headlines, beyond the obvious names.

Who should be on our NCAA NEXT radar next?
