As the truest Aquarius that I am, nothing makes me happier than seeing people’s freaky side come out, slaying their hot, sexy outfits at my themed party, and giving their own interpretation of queer masculinity (love love love everyone's vibes) 🦦♒

Just partying against gender roles <3

April stond in het teken van lieve mensen (ontmoeten), muziek, tattootjes en steeds weer opnieuw, en iets meer, thuiskomen bij mezelf 🐣🎀🍒🎷

I like having my analogue pictures taken at the photoautomat, eating sweet German mustard with bread and smoked tofu and the Northern Eastern European version of kimchi on top, finding things in the trash and inside boxes left outside of the entrance of apartments’ buildings, free accommodation, having my ears ruined by very loud speakers, smoking joints inside a squatted cinema theatre, butchering German words and making Fred laugh for it, bla bla bla i do not like my data not working in this country and the DEUTSCHE BAHN

Alma Juhlin ( @smeghole also of @cat.snout ) and Peishan Xu ( @itssparkling ) went through the full spectrum of @discomfort_dispatch , with musical expression inspired by what you feel in the moment, experimentation with random objects (muscle massager in this case) and just having fun with abandon

Thanks everyone for showing up to @discomfort_dispatch 52 and the first at @vonkindewijk ! There were some surprising and amazing performances. From vibey psychodelic bass and trombone, loud AF noise to vulnerable lofi indie/anti-folk turning into drumstick sword battles. You can never really predict what will happen at Discomfort Dispatch, and that’s what makes it great. Next one is october 13th!

This sunday the first @discomfort_dispatch at @hillyweird ! Musicians are coupled together to do a 20 minute improvised set together. What will it become? No one knows, that’s the fun. Experimentation is encouraged, blues noodling is not ;) These events often results in new collabs and broadening of possibilities for both the performers and the audience. Come hang out sunday and check it out! And maybe you can perform at the next one too

At first my Mediterranean ass was fearing the idea of going up to Northern Europe but i loved how nature is adapted within the urban environment. Cheers to that and to the cheap Halloween swedish candies!

🥰debut performance by Catsnout🐱

uneasy daydreams and little miracles inhabit catsnout’s music, the sound-child of songwriter, poet, bartender and activist alma juhlin. three years ago, alma left stockholm to find her home along the banks of the oudegracht, bringing with her anger, irony, and a restless tenderness against all odds. alma's songs are sweet and rotten, drawing from both folk tradition and antifolk defiance, and her stories come into full bloom in this five-piece cat litter of a band. catsnout's raw and playful sound shapes the landscape of solitary peaks and uncanny valleys that is living with a lot of love in a beautiful world on the brink of collapse.
