The Living Room #6

This year has been an abundance of growth and awe. Especially when it came to this thing called The Living Room that God placed on my heart. I loved this so much. The creativity, the spaces, the people. God showed up and OUT this year and I’m just as blessed to have been a part of the obedience process of it all.

Had ANYONE of you have told 20 year-old Joshua that he was one day going to lead in this space and gather people, poets, and communities together, I would’ve looked up, down and sideways. But living that reality now makes me all the more confident in God’s presence and purpose in and on my life.

Thank you for a wonderful first year and first season of The Living Room. For the unwavering support when I felt like giving up and the love shown when I started second guessing myself. Lots more to come and way more room to make it all happen. Closing out this year went with a bang and I couldn’t have asked a better group of people to do it with. Grace and peace. 🖤

The Living Room #5

“Phenomenal” does not begin to do justice enough to describe the immense feeling of last night’s gathering. The way the Tribe showed up and the Holy Spirit SHOWED OUT was something to behold. Thank you to all of the amazing and talented creatives; both old and new, the planned and impromptus, the anointed and used, everyone! I am very grateful that you took a chance being bold with what God has put it and given you. Thank y’all for making The Living Room what it is and supporting it every step of the way. And I most thankful for the way the Spirit MOVED. Truly a night to remember.

And before I forget, one more time for our boy, brother, friend, and lovable goofy goober, @jasonibee ⁩! Thank you for popping out tonight and allowing us to celebrate you as you set off toward this new chapter in your life. Once again, I speak for all when I say we love you and are extremely proud of you. 💯

Grace and peace, family. Until next time.

This entire month has been overflowing with so much love—deep, intentional, soul-nourishing love. I’m endlessly grateful for the people in my life who consistently show up with open hearts, vibrant energy, and unwavering presence. Being surrounded by that kind of love is not something I take lightly.

In this season of my life, I’m celebrating not just milestones, but the journey—the countless prayers, late nights, breakthroughs, and becoming. This is the season where all that we’ve worked so hard for, both seen and unseen, is beginning to bloom. It’s a season of receiving, of honoring, and of still building with grace and purpose.

To be a reflection of the love you pour into me—and to be the friend, sister, and soul you’ve chosen to walk with—is one of my greatest honors. You’ve got my heart, for real. We’re just getting started.

I know it’s Gemini season but real Taurus are still pushing through 🥳🥳💕🌸🥰
