18) successful fest during election week
19) adventuring with besties
20) LED suit slow exposure - see you on the dance floor next year 🫶🏼

If you’ve made it this far know that half of these highlights from the year have had massive challenges and even failures behind them…for example

-I never aired on AGT
-New York fashion week was a logistical nightmare and the video shot at home was better than any content from the runway in NYC
-electric forest was the hardest travel conditions I’ve ever experienced before a show and I walked away with barely any money
-with all this work I’ve had serious bouts of lineliness this first year in LA
-NYE gig this year was cancelled within a week of the show

Not gunna lie sometimes 2024 felt like one blue balls after another in terms of career opportunity and payoff after a TON of hard work

But I’m doing my best to reframe these with the joy I and others take in experiencing plexusplay live

Don’t believe everything your mind tells you especially on social media, have a wonderful NYE, set some intentions for 2025 however small, and I’ll see you next year on the dance floor

I had a wonderful time surprising Sarah Mills (thanks to Max Weigel) at their beautiful new home in Chicago this weekend. We worked on raking out the lovely perennial gardens that they’ve inherited (lucky ducks!) and on Sunday they took me to see their amazing wedding venue (Garfield Conservatory). It’s breathtaking especially now with all of the spring bulbs on display.

I’m sad that they’re not settling on the east coast, but happy for them that they’ve landed at such a gorgeous property. I’ve found my favorite knitting spot in the sunroom looking out to the backyard/garden. ❤️

I returned a few weeks ago from my very fun and fabulous trip with the kids to Ireland, England and Scotland to belatedly celebrate my 60th. It was a whirlwind and we saw so many amazing places! I’ve been meaning to post ever since but have been overwhelmed trying to choose from over 2,000 pics in our shared album. Thank you Sarah Mills Garrett Mills Carrie Jones Max Weigel for putting up with me for 10 days! I’ll cherish the memories forever! ❤️
