A smile makeover—without shaving a single tooth. ✨ Thanks to modern digital technology, I was able to show my patient a preview of their new smile “the moment” before treatment began (see the 3rd photo), allowing us to fine-tune every detail together. The final image shows the transformation process from start to finish. Conservative dentistry, personalized planning, and predictable results. 🦷💎

Not all porcelain or ceramics are made equally! This can vary significantly from one dentist to another. I sound like a broken record but please do your research before getting veneers!

🦷 Sometimes teeth break… and yes, we can sometimes glue them back together. 🤯 This young patient experienced dental trauma that fractured a front tooth. Fortunately, the broken fragment was recovered, allowing us to bond the patient’s own natural tooth structure back into place for an incredibly seamless result. 💡 Pro tip: If a tooth chips or breaks, don’t throw the fragment away! Place it in a glass of cold milk 🥛 and see your dentist as soon as possible. Keeping the fragment hydrated can significantly improve the chances of successfully reattaching it. Shoutout to @socalendo, who worked his magic in treating the root on this immature tooth. The goal is to preserve the tooth while giving the root the best chance to continue developing as this young patient grows.

⚠️ BE AWARE! Unfortunately this is becoming more and more common. Please warn your friends and family members of this if they’re considering a smile makeover. ‼️

Sometimes it’s composite and sometimes it’s porcelain/ceramic. There is no cookie-cutter approach to cosmetic dentistry. A beautiful smile isn’t created by placing 10 porcelain veneers on every patient! It’s created by listening, understanding your goals, making the right diagnosis, and choosing the treatment that’s best for you. In this case, we restored two worn and chipped front teeth with two additive composite veneers—all completed in a single appointment. ✔️ No injections ✔️ No drilling of healthy tooth structure ✔️ Beautiful, natural results Conservative dentistry is often the most rewarding dentistry. This smile was created using @gcamericainc and @shofudental materials, combined with years of refining technique, artistry, and attention to detail. 🎨🪥🦷

Thinking about veneers or a smile makeover? Here’s what most people don’t realize 👇 Let’s break down the materials currently available for veneers and smile makeovers. There is no one-size-fits-all solution. Every smile is different. Your bite, enamel, goals, habits, and the condition of your teeth all determine which material will provide the best long-term result. In this reel, I’ll explain the strengths of each option, who they’re best suited for, and why choosing the right material matters just as much as choosing the right dentist. The best smile isn’t about using the “best” material—it’s about using the right material for you. Which material have you heard the most about? Let me know in the comments. 👇 #veneers #smilemakeover #cosmeticdentistry #digitaldentistry #porcelainveneers dentist smiledesign estheticdentistry dentaleducation losangelesdentist

Got a lot of great questions on my last @getneer video, so I'm answering some of them here. If you've got more, drop them below! There's a lot of confusion out there about cosmetic dentistry, and patients should do their research before committing to any treatments.

Another smile transformed with porcelain veneers! Our patient was unhappy with the color and appearance of his teeth. This is a great example of how porcelain veneers can brighten up a smile and still look very natural! Smile, porcelain veneers

“But another dentist told me they’ll use the strongest material for my teeth”- a claim I hear often. The truth is, using materials that are stronger than your natural teeth isn't always the best approach. Biomimetic dentistry focuses on using modern materials and techniques to create restorations that behave like natural teeth, requiring a high level of skill and attention to detail. I’m extremely fortunate to have been educated and trained by @pascal_magne the father of biomimetic and modern adhesive dentistry from the very start of my career @uscdentistry

The “secret sauce” to a perfect smile isn’t just the tools—it’s the transparency. 💡 Composite bonding is a fantastic, conservative solution, but we believe in total honesty: it’s a sprint, while porcelain is a marathon. While composite won’t last as long as porcelain veneers, in the right hands, the results are stunningly natural. Also, no shots and no drilling for this procedure! No teeth were shaved for this result. 🙌🏼 Case in point: This patient loved her new alignment after Invisalign but wanted that “finished” look. Composite veneers were the final piece of her smile makeover puzzle! ✨ Veneers, smile, composite bonding
