During this #72HoursChallenge, for a consecutive year our students collaborated with @cupra_it on a special brief for the launch of the new CUPRA Raval and #DesignWeek. From ideas to final concepts, they explored bold and forward-thinking directions inspired by the brand’s vision. A creative challenge that pushed them to think beyond conventions and design with purpose. Il brand consegna il brief, parte il countdown e per tre giorni gli studenti non escono più. Si mangia, si dorme (poco) e si progetta senza sosta tra le mura dell’istituto. 🛌 Noi di Futura Community Hub ( @iits.gheb.time, @gabrielebortolin10, @roomeroozz) eravamo lì per catturare ogni momento di questa follia creativa, compresi i retroscena e gli sfoghi degli studenti nel nostro “confessionale”. ⏳ Il tempo è scaduto. Volete vedere cosa hanno realizzato sotto pressione? Il risultato finale arriva tra pochissimi giorni. Rimanete sintonizzati! ————————————— Imagine "Big Brother," but with no nominations and a lot more InDesign files open. 👁️🎨 We dove into the heart of the 72 Hours at @rafflesmilano: a true marathon of extreme creativity. A brand drops the brief, the countdown starts, and for three days, the students don’t leave. Eating, sleeping (very little), and non-stop designing within the institute’s walls. 🛌💻 We at Futura Community Hub (@iits.gheb.time, @gabrielebortolin10, @roomeroozz) were there to capture every moment of this creative madness, including the behind-the-scenes drama and students letting it all out in our "confessional." 📸 ⏳ Time is up. 72 intense, inspiring, and incredibly formative hours have just come to an end 👏🎉— and our students rose to the challenge with determination, creativity, and team spirit. “72 Hours” is not just a project, but a true design challenge: three days of continuous work on real briefs, developed in collaboration with real companies. An experience that tests talent, resilience, and the ability to turn ideas into concrete solutions. This year, our students had the opportunity to work with outstanding partners: @gruppobancainvestis , @cupra_it , @followyourpassion_it , @natuzzi , @pianob_agenzia , @sencogoldanddiamonds, @trussardi, @unicefitalia, @vetrobalsamo. Collaborations that made this edition even more meaningful and impactful. It wasn’t easy — but it’s in the most intense challenges that the best energy emerges. At Raffles Milano, the annual 72 Hours brought creativity and cross-cultural collaboration to life. Students from around the world and all different design disciplines teamed up to tackle briefs from a top fashion house, a leading furniture brand, design companies, financial institutions, nonprofit organizations, and the coolest of car brands — putting their ideas, skills, and resilience to the test. My task force tackled two very complex briefs, turning them into designs that will be showcased at Milan Design Week, extended through elite paddle tournaments, and amplified with guerrilla-style activations. With design-driven visionary brand Cupra transforming the future of automobiles shaping the brief alongside renowned Swedish-born creative agency Acne to launch Raval and revitalize the brand’s link to paddle tournaments, I had the privilege of guiding this remarkable team of assorted students moulding strategy and foresight into bold, meaningful, and unmistakably real experiences. We laughed, some cried a little, we partied and we learned a lot — the journey left a lasting mark.
