Juneteenth. One of the most important days of the year.

I invite you to stop and reflect. To those who have privilege, think about how to use it to made the world better. Educate yourself. Put aside your fragility and have the hard conversations. Think about the work that still needs to be done and reparations and strides that remain to be made.

At the same time, let’s celebrate and recognize true resilience, the long walk towards freedom and recognition of the strength within the journey.

And let’s not forget the artistry! Follow them!!! Support them!!! I have too many favorites to list, but these are some lovely humans, whose artistry adorn my walls✨ 🖤✨

So many vendors at @goodtrademakersmarket asked, “Are you buying for someone else or for yourself?” And to that we say, why not both!? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Treat yourself or someone special this holiday season!

NEW! 🧼✨ African black soap fuses Connecticut-made @smithmade_essentials w/ Ghana ingredients. This unscented soap is made using traditional methods that combine cocoa pod ash, plantain skins, and shea butter to deeply cleanse and nourish your skin.

This soap has a creamy and luxurious lather. If you've heard of this African black soap before, you may already be familiar with this long-loved bar soap originating from West Africa. Every soap purchased supports the women of rural Ghana, who provide the community-certified fair trade and sustainable ingredients used in them.
