💘 SINGLE, TAKEN, IT’S COMPLICATED… OR JUST HERE FOR THE COMEDY? 💘

Dating in Malta is an experience. Whether you’ve been left on read, matched with someone you went to school with, or somehow ended up on a date with your friend’s ex… we’ve all got a story. 😂

On Friday, 9th October, we’re teaming up with Smitten, the dating app, for a special dating-themed night of stand-up comedy at 97 Notes in Valletta!

🎤 Four comedians will take the stage to share their funniest, most awkward and painfully relatable stories about dating in Malta, online dating, relationships, red flags, green flags, ghosting, bad dates and everything in between.

And keeping the night moving (and hopefully keeping everyone from swiping left on the show) is your host, Ed Vassallo.

Whether you’re happily single, desperately single, newly single, romantically confused, or just here to watch other people’s dating disasters…

This one’s for you. ❤️

Come for the comedy. Stay for the dating trauma. Maybe even leave with a match. 👀

Icelandic dating app Smitten has officially landed in Malta, bringing personality-first dating to the island 🇲🇹

Built for tight-knit communities, Smitten is already Iceland’s leading dating app and is designed for places like Malta, where everyone knows everyone… and swiping through endless short-term visitors just to find someone local gets old fast.

Its signature feature, Guessary, helps matches connect through personality-based games before even meeting.

To mark the launch, Smitten introduced its “In Loving Memory Of” campaign, a cheeky tribute to the short-lived flings that never stood a chance, encouraging locals to stop dating people with a return flight… and start dating local.

Now available on iOS and Android.
