From the moment I heard whispers of there being a @nfl game in Melbourne, immediately I began my quest to have some sort of involvement in such a momentous occasion in the Australian sports scene.. @seancallanan was the absolute superstar who teed this absolute unbelievable opportunity to partner up with the @49ers to create this artwork to commemorate this huge milestone.. I can't thank the team enough for believing in me and having me on board.. And of course Sean, nothing but love!
I hope the fans that score a copy will enjoy them ❤️
Huge thanks to @smlxlprint for always coming through in the clutch!

Pssst… Something NEW is coming! 💛✨

Mixing it up with some fresh vibes, some COLOUR & a few little things I’ve been working on for some time! 🤩

I’ve been playing with this subject matter in black & white & colour since I was very young. Why not step back to my younger self and reimagine & improve my skills & apply them! 🙌🏼 I’ve found more depth, understanding of the finer details, a richer palette & a more refined finish… dare I say, more mature! 😅 🥰

This reveal is about more than just showing my art, but about being confident to do so! 👏🏼

Gee, I wonder what it is? Stay tuned! 💗😎

The Just Another Print Series continues to grow! We’re thrilled to welcome @juzpop to the collection, with her print now available through the Just Another Shop.

Juzpop joins @_alexsugar_ , @lucylucyone , and @samy___baby , who have all released their artworks as a range of archival giclée prints, printed on 310gsm textured cotton rag paper. Proudly printed at @smlxlprint

This Print Series is another way for us to support the artists we work with while making their work available beyond the gallery wall. Whether you’re adding to your collection or discovering a new favourite artist, there’s something for every space.

And we’re only just getting started! More artists and new designs are already on the way! Explore the collection via the link in our bio.

Grateful for REAL ART & the ART of creativity!🤍

Playing around with the idea of how to present my work and always thinking, “what do I show?”, “how much do I upload?” and “what do people want to see?” And more so… “why am I questioning what I showcase?” ✏️

It takes a lot of self belief and confidence to showcase art on a public platform. This is a dream to have the opportunity to put my love for illustration out in to the world, so excuse me a little whilst I start to comfortably (and a little uncomfortably) put my REAL ART and myself out there… because why not!😅

There are so many barriers in this world and people that delight in bringing others down or try to copy what you do and take advantage of what you have to offer. I’ve experienced this a lot in the past few years and it’s changed me and my inner peace and creativity, not because I’ve openly allowed it but without realising, thinking it was just being busy in life, an overwhelming feeling. So I’ve decided, no more! 🤩
I know my worth and capabilities and I think being actively aware makes it a lot easier to breathe through, lean in to it and just be all in & fly like a bird! ✏️🤍👏🏼

Now, for this illustration I was playing around with AI & as much as it’s made my illustration move & fly, I will never use AI to illustrate for me. To take that passion & move it to a completely different space I feel would definitely disconnect me from my work. Each to their own but for me, the hours & hours spent creating works is hard but it’s bloody satisfying when it’s done!! It’s an “I did that!” moment & I love that feeling of accomplishment & the hit of creative dopamine! 👏🏼🤩

Customer review of the year… “This is going straight to the pool room!” 👏🏼✏️🤩

Now, when you get a lovely review, that’s brilliant… when a customer quotes a line from the iconic Aussie movie, The Castle, well that’s just bloody awesome!! 😎

I have completed a couple of very special commissions lately for more very special customers!

What I’m unable to do is actually show you these two illustrations for privacy reasons. 🤫🤍

Let’s just say… the reviews are in & I’m thrilled with the response!

“Oh my goodness Leanne, this is incredible, I can’t believe what you’ve created! It looks like a photo! You’re so talented!”

“I love it! This is going straight to the pool room!!”

Thank you H & C… absolute legends! 👑

Lucky to be invited to view this photo of @reubenkayeofficial from the ‘QUEER NAARM’ series now hung on someone’s wall. It doesn’t really capture how big it is as an A0 print by @smlxlprint!

This is a limited edition print of 5, and there are just 3 left. Other sizes are available. You can order through my website.
