If I Can Leave You With Anything Inspirational,

It’s This 🫶🏾:

Leave the things that no longer serve you in the past. In order for us to grow, we have to be willing to step outside of our comfort zones. Continue to speak life over yourself, believe in your potential, and manifest the things you know you deserve.

But always remember… manifestation requires ACTION. You can pray for it, speak it, and believe in it, but you also have to put in the work to make it happen.

Give yourself grace, trust the process, and never stop becoming the person you’re meant to be. 🤞🏾💙🫶🏾…

Peace 2 MelonNation! Happy 1 Year Anniversary @dolmarkets @doldc

We had the pleasure to provide the community with our fresh seeded melons and cold-pressed juices during the celebration last Friday 🎉

We have to pour into those doing the work in our communities. It is not easy work and that gives us more of a reason to slow down and celebrate how far we have come.

Blessings to many more 🌱🌎

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking revising , praying, and choosing to stay optimistic. 🙏🏾

June was, by far, the toughest month I’ve faced as a business owner. A car accident caused by a reckless driver led to unexpected mechanical issues that completely held me back from operating. Then, finding out the insurance company wouldn’t take accountability for the claim had me questioning if I should even keep pushing forward.

I know I let a few people down because I didn’t have the motivation or strength I normally do, and for that, I sincerely apologize for not coming through like I should have. Looking back, I realize what I needed most wasn’t to keep fighting—it was to rest. Physically and mentally.

I’m sharing this because social media usually only shows the wins. It rarely shows the moments where you’re questioning everything, trying to figure out your next move while carrying the weight of a business on your back.

But I’m still here. I’m still believing. And I’m still building.

I want to thank everyone who’s checked on me, supported me, prayed for me, and stayed in my corner these past few months. Special thanks to DSLBD and @thisismadeindc for continuing to pour into DC small businesses and creating a community where entrepreneurs can grow together.

And to my brother and biggest supporter these last two years, @angelyeldellbey , and the entire BUYMORETTO team—thank you for reminding me not to quit, even when I wanted to.

This journey isn’t easy, but this setback won’t be the end of my story. I’m getting back to work, one day at a time.
