How is Adrian Newey taking the Aston Martin AMR26 to extremes?

👀 Upper wishbone, similar to the Red Bull RB15 (multi-link) ----> greater tyre footprint ----> better grip

-----
As can be seen in the lower wishbone (RB15), the two arms are connected to each other.
This is not the case for the upper wishbone, but they are disconnected.
This solution is called multi-link .

Round 7️⃣ @rkc_asi_campania_molise: FUORI GIRI 💨

📜 RECAP:
- GARA 1: Qualifica P3 - Arrivo P7
- GARA 2: Qualifica P5 - Arrivo P6
- Finale Gold: Qualifica P3 - Arrivo P6
Risultato finale di tappa: P5 di categoria.

🔜 Due Round al termine della stagione, la china si fa ripida ma non impossibile (in attesa della classifica ufficiale). Una sola cosa è certa: vanno innestate le marce alte, e subito! 🔥

🗓 NEXT ROUND: 23 NOVEMBRE LIMATOLA (LAYOUT LARGO)

🇲🇽 The Mexican Grand Prix was characterized by great general degradation, due to a high track temperature (50-51°C).

In the first stint Leclerc suffers from a great degradation of his soft tires from lap 20. In fact, following this lap, the Monegasque driver will record a much slower pace than Lando Norris and Max Verstappen.

📊 Before lap 20: pace (s/lap)

Nor: 82,371 (18L)
Lec: 82,779 (18L)
Ver: 83,109 (17L)

After lap 20: pace (s/lap) and difference compared to the first part

Nor: 82,789 (13L) + 0.418
Ver: 83,416 (16L) + 0.307
Lec: 83,455 (10L) +0.676

🔴 The two Ferraris, but also other drivers were forced to do a lot of LiCo, one of the main reasons is to allow the brakes not to cool /not overheat them too much when braking. Ferrari's request was very demanding (Example: Hamilton was asked to increase the LiCo, initially by 100m and then after about ten laps, to increase by another 50m).

A sign that still indicates serious problems for managing brake temperatures (as was well seen in Singapore).

🔵 Likewise, there were quite a few problems for Verstappen. One of the few (along with Tsunoda) to opt for mediums at the start of the race. We'll see, the compound won't work as well as expected. But it wasn’t only those problems:

The topic of overloading at the front end is discussed several times in radio communications, forcing the driver both to move the braking balance to the rear (B-Bal 8) and to ask for a change to the flap, to reduce the load.

💭 What do you think?
