Hey, all I wanted to do was mortgages, not become a social media influencer 😂

Hats off to the creators out there doing their thing. These constant outfit changes, multiple takes and all-day shoots are a whole job on their own!

But times are changing. There’s more information than ever at our fingertips, and part of serving our clients is finding creative ways to make that information clear and useful.

To my fellow mortgage and real estate professionals stepping in front of the camera, sharing what you know and figuring this out as you go—I’m right there with you.

After all these years in the business, I’m still learning. Staying relevant sometimes means getting uncomfortable, trying something new and being willing to reinvent yourself.

And now the new wave is having an AI twin 🤦🏾‍♂️😂 It’s all good though. I welcome every challenge life brings 😀

Cheers to everyone putting in the work. Even when you’d rather just be doing mortgages 😂🥂

MOM 2026 Next Gen—what an adventure!

It was a pleasure to meet you—or to see you again :-)
Intense, enriching, exciting—in short, a MOM just the way we like it.

Kudos to Naz for everything 💪🏻, and thank you and kudos to my students for participating in the very first Master Class dedicated to photography in SMP.

And it’s always a pleasure to hang out with my friends and have a good time.

Can’t wait for the next one, Peace ✌🏻

Manchester and Meeting of Minds were something really special for me this year. 🤍

I really wanted to use this opportunity to present the technique I’ve been working on for a long time, for the first time under its name: Dot by Dot Shading. Standing in front of my colleagues, showing my work live and demonstrating what is possible with this technique was a very special moment for me.

But everything around it was just as beautiful. Meeting so many amazing artists and colleagues from our SMP community, sitting together, exchanging ideas, laughing and simply enjoying the day together.

We had amazing speakers, great content and so many people from our industry all in one place. That’s exactly what I love about events like this – the exchange between colleagues and that real sense of community.

And a huge thank you to Naz and @wearteammicro. You created such an amazing day for all of us and brought so many people from our SMP community together. Thank you, @nahimali89 ! ❤️

I truly enjoyed every part of this day and I’m already looking forward to next year. 🫶🏼

Meeting of the Minds 2026 🧠🔥

What a few days in Manchester!

After spending the previous day doing another SMP master course, I finished the trip off at my first Meeting of the Minds seminar, surrounded by some incredible artists from all over the UK and different parts of the world.

I’ve been trying to document more of my day to day life and bring you along for the journey, not just show the finished SMP results.

The day was packed with talks, live demos and loads of different opinions and approaches to SMP. Every artist has their own techniques, style and way of doing things, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. For me, it’s about listening, taking different things on board and using what I believe will improve my own work and my clients’ experience.

This video definitely doesn’t show everything 😂 Some of the talks had me so locked in that I genuinely forgot I was meant to be filming!

Great to finally meet so many artists I’ve followed and learned from, as well as loads of new people.

Came home with new ideas, new knowledge and even more motivation for what’s next for DC Scalp Micro 📈

Never stop levelling up your skills.

Massive thanks to @nahimali89 , @weareteammicro and everyone involved 👏🏽

My SMP Journey

Eight years ago, after going through three months of chemotherapy, my hair changed dramatically. I went from having thick hair and a strong hairline to having thinner hair and a much higher hairline.

Over the years, I tried so many different products. They helped improve the strength and appearance of my hair, but unfortunately, they couldn’t bring back the hairline I had before.

I started looking into a hair transplant, but after doing my research, I realized it would be a much bigger commitment. There were medications like Finasteride to consider, multiple PRP treatments, and the uncertainty that can come with donor hair and the transplant process.

So I started looking for an option that would be easier to maintain and fit my lifestyle. That’s when I discovered Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP).

After doing a lot of research, I decided to try Trendsetters Hair & Tattoo Lounge, which I found on Instagram. From my very first consultation with Randy, I felt comfortable and confident that I was in good hands.

I’m extremely happy with the results! Randy is professional, talented, and really takes pride in his work. And I have to say, I also love the retro beats playing in the shop—it made the whole experience even better! 😂

Most importantly, SMP gave me something I didn’t realize I had been missing. It made me feel young again.

For anyone who has experienced hair loss and is considering SMP, I would definitely recommend checking out Trendsetters Hair & Tattoo Lounge and speaking with Randy.

Thank you, Randy, for helping me feel confident again! 🙏

Conference. Connection. Community.

This is what Next Level PMU actually feels like from the inside.

Two full days of world class education from speakers and educators who have genuinely mastered their craft.

Conversations that happen between sessions and end up meaning just as much as anything taught on stage.

A room full of permanent makeup professionals who understand exactly what this career demands because they are living it too.

This profession can be isolating.
You study alone.
You grow alone.
You second guess yourself alone.

Next Level PMU exists to change that.

Artists walk in as strangers and walk out with a community that stays with them long after the weekend ends.

It happens every single time we bring this industry together in one room.

October 30–31 is your chance to be part of it.
