As a result, there remains a feeling that simply getting through this year without going crazy is already the best possible outcome. Among the reflection questions for the year’s summary, I come to the conclusion that I am simply very happy to be welcoming it with two close friends in the mountains. I am happy because I started the year with my friend and I am ending it with her.
I believe that in some ways I won, and in other ways I lost.

Professionally:
- for the first time, I received 12 paid creative contracts in a row. But I was working four jobs at the same time to pay for two apartments, which eventually led to the worst panic attack of my life and a serious blow to my health.

Career-wise:
- I had several small victories in illustration: I attended Cornelia Funke’s residency after winning one of the prize places, and I won third place in Rüsselsheim. I set myself difficult goals and carried them through.
Personally: I rented my own apartment for the first time. It was very hard.

Conclusion: the most important thing is to begin. In critical situations, it is worth trusting yourself and listening to yourself.

For the next year, what I wish for myself most is stability and to be kinder to myself and others.
