Solving the gear transportation and storage problems of the road trip obsessed kayak angler.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Our time at Lake Murray for the @bassmaster Kayak Series Championship has come to an end. We fell short on day 2 with two keepers that dropped us to 67th out of 154. I’m bummed, but we gave it our all this week! 🥲

Being able to spend my birthday fishing against the best in the country was an amazing opportunity. The competitive side of me is fueled with fire to try and qualify again next year as it has been fun to learn so much from this trip. Not the outcome we wanted but we are leaving with more knowledge about herring fisheries and a new body of water. 🤓

My bite this week consisted of targeting schooling fish on the main lake with a @zmanfishingproducts 5” Scented Jerk ShadZ in Hot Chartreuse paired with a @ownerhooks 4/0 Offset Worm Hook. Putting my @torqeedousa Travel Ultralight on high to get my bait in the mix when they were chasing bait all over. The wind on day 2 unfortunately hurt that bite in my two main spots and that resulted in falling short. 🫠

A HUGE thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday and good luck over the last two days! Also, thank you to my sponsors who support this addictive hobby that I love so much. It’s now officially our off season and I’m stoked to come back better in 2027! 😤

We’re officially sitting in 24th after day 1 of the @bassmaster Kayak Series Championship with 83.25”. Spent a lot of our morning chasing a dead bite and turned things around mid day to key in on a new pattern.

Top 50 fishes Championship Saturday so we need to go crack another decent bag tomorrow. Although, we’re going to try and swing for a bigger bag for my birthday. Time to lock in!

The @bassmaster Kayak Series National Championship registration and banquet is officially done. Now we get to battle it out on Lake Murray the next two days and hopefully Saturday against the best in the country! 💪🏼

This trip has been a blast to hang out with the west coast crew and friends from all over. Although the bite is tough, we’re cherishing every second of it.

It’s all on me now to execute each opportunity and try to put a bag together. We’re going to give it our all and try to make something happen. Wish me luck!

Day one is in the books at the 2026 Snake River Manufacturing KFNW Kayak Bass Classic on Lake Bonneville, presented by Diamond Parking & Self Storage.

The Gorge wind showed up mid-morning with 3–4 foot rollers on the west end. Geoff Linson put together a 95.75" bag in just two hours before the weather pushed him off the water. Michael Mumford took the lead just after 11:30, and TJ Osojnicki culled his way into second. 2025 AOY Brandon Hua relaunched and climbed into fifth, and Lacey Dugger landed a 21.25" personal best for the fish of the day.

Day One Top 6

Michael Mumford — 97.50"
TJ Osojnicki — 96.00"
Geoff Linson — 95.75"
Will Raymond — 92.25"
Brandon Hua — 91.00"
Kevin Amaral — 90.75"

Only 6.75" separates the top six heading into Sunday. Read the full story at kfnw.fish. Lacey Dugger's 21.25 inch smallmouth

Your back will thank you.

Back that thang up. 😂

The long tongue on this @snakerivermfg trailer makes backing it up way easier than you’d think. Less fighting the trailer, more getting it where you want it.

New addition to the rig! We added the @kingpin_equipped light bar to the @snakerivermfg trailer. Couldn’t ask for a better outcome. Prep work will be nice being able to toggle between the white or red. No more prepping and swatting bugs at the same time. #kayakbassfishing #snakerivertrailers #kayaktrailer #bonafidekayaks #customized

Been a process but I don’t think I have really posted a picture of my @bonafidefish XTR this whole time. The platform has been amazing to work with and has accommodated my love of gear like no other. There have been some hiccups along the way, but the platform itself has been flawless. Hopefully I can button up a few things behind the scenes and take this rig everywhere it was intended to go! Since the weather sucks today, maybe I’ll do a walk thru as well. Tight lines everyone and hope to see ya out there! #kayakbassfishing #bonafidekayaks #bassfishing #vacationmode #fishing
