This is Her Barbering Co.

And honestly? There’s no fancy shop yet. No academy. No classroom. No students. No big team. No beautiful space waiting somewhere for me.

It’s literally just me, a pair of clippers, a dream, and the audacity to believe it can become something much bigger. 😂✂️

I’ve been thinking about what I want to build in the barbering space, especially for women. I don’t just want to be a woman who cuts hair. I want to create something that makes more women look at barbering and think, “I can do this too.”

I dream of a space where women can learn the craft, practise without intimidation, find community, build confidence and eventually turn their skills into businesses and careers.

One day, I want Her Barbering Co. to have a physical space.
I want an academy.
I want students.
I want women who can say, “I learnt this here.”
I want to create opportunities I wish more women had access to.

But today?

It’s just the beginning.

This shoot isn’t a celebration of something I’ve already built. It’s me documenting the moment I decided to start building it.

So if you see this page growing from the ground up, just know you’re seeing the beginning of the story. 🥹

I don’t know exactly how long it will take, but I know what I see in my head.

And I’m going to build it. 🤍
