Well, today is my 23rd birthday.

Yes, another graduation post… I don’t care 🤣 this is my page, I can post what I want to, when I want to. You don’t gotta like it, I’m not trippin’. I didn’t care to take any birthday pics this year, and y’all gon’ get all these grad pics ‘cause 1. I got a DEGREE from PVAMU & 2. Lou & Gabe went way too crazy on ‘em!

But really, I just wanted this post to serve not only as a celebration of my birthday but for me to just share a lil bit with y’all. The post-graduation lifestyle really ain’t no joke. Whether you have everything lined up: the perfect job, location, funds; or you cross that stage not fully ready: no job (yet), feeling isolated back at home, eagerly trying to find yourself, or anything in between, there are a lot of difficulties that come with the sudden release into true adulthood, and trust me, I was no exception to this. If you know me for real, you know a few things happened that disrupted my initial post-grad plans, but I ultimately had to grow from them and re-learn how to pivot in such situations. It’s been an exciting past year and some change since I graduated, full of a LOT of travels, fun times, networking, and secret struggles, but things are finally starting to align themselves for me, and I can’t thank anyone more than God.

On this very day last year, I really had no true direction for myself, just a mind full of goals and ideas and a relentless dedication to accomplish all of them as quickly as possible. I learned that sometimes things may just take a little bit longer to come to fruition, but with steadfast prayer, a solid and refined plan, and the right community around you, everything will eventually fall into place. So if you’re feeling lost at all, just know, you’re not alone, and you’re gonna work through it!

If you read this far, I appreciate you! To many more years of life and success! 🥂
