🏔️ TAKING THE STRAIN FOR MEINS ❤️ This Bank Holiday weekend, we’re heading to Snowdon with one goal…to see how many times we can get up and down it in three days, while raising money towards the specialist cancer treatment Meinir urgently needs. From 9am Friday 28th until 9am Monday 31st August, we’ll be based at the bottom of the Llanberis Path, outside the Royal Victoria Hotel, and we’re hoping to get as many people involved as possible. We’re putting together a Welsh scarecrow/dummy, which will be carried up and down the mountain with us throughout the challenge. So if you see a slightly unusual looking group making their way up Snowdon, you’ll know you’ve found us! 😂 Fancy joining us for a summit? Come along! Can’t make it to Snowdon? You can still make a huge difference by donating or simply sharing this post. Every person who joins us, every donation and every share helps us get closer to giving Meins the chance to access the treatment she desperately needs. ❤️ 📍 Llanberis Path, Snowdon 📅 Friday 28th – Monday 31st August ⏰ 9am Friday – 9am Monday ❤️ Donate here: https://gofund.me/f15585791 Please share this far and wide! The more people we can get involved, the bigger the challenge — and hopefully the bigger the difference we can make for Meinir. 🙏 See you on the mountain! 🏔️💪❤️ #fuckcancer #charity

Update No. 2 – Almaen / Germany 🇩🇪 ❤️ We’re heading in the right direction, but it has been an incredibly emotional journey for both myself and Meinir Siencyn. @snapyn.tv There have been difficult moments along the way, but we are taking things one day at a time. Our spirits remain strong, and we are continuing to move forward together. The love, kindness and support we’ve received from so many of you has honestly carried us through some of the hardest moments. Knowing that people are thinking of us, sending messages, sharing our story and helping in whatever way they can means more to us than words could ever express. ❤️ Diolch o waelod calon i bawb sydd wedi rhoi yn barod. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, to everyone who has already donated and to every single person who has shown us such incredible love and support. We still have a journey ahead of us, so please keep sharing our story and, if you’re able to, please keep donating. Every donation, every share, every message and every kind word gives us more strength to keep going. We will never forget the kindness you have shown us. Diolch o galon am bopeth. ❤️ With all our love and gratitude, xxx https://gofund.me/a067ccb1d #cancer #healing #lifejourney #gofundme

♡ MOUNTAINS FOR MEINIR ♡ Sunday was the first of two fundraising hikes for Meinir, taking the road less travelled to the roof of Eryri — the Yr Wyddfa South Ridge. Summit was its usual weekend mayhem, but we had the ascent almost to ourselves. ⛰️ Great company from two lovely ladies, Natalina and Michaela, who got a taster of scrambling and are already hooked. Their donations are helping @emsdavies1 and @snapyn.tv fund the treatment Meinir needs for the best chance at a healthy quality of life. ☀️ Thank you to everyone who donated, whether you joined us or not — it means more than you know. Next hike: 22nd August. All welcome. Minimum £30 donation to climb a mountain in Meinir's name. ❤️ 🙏 If you want to donate, if you can donate please do my lovely friends still have a mountain of fundraising to climb themselves and every bit helps 💪 Link to go fund me in my bio! #type #gofundme #cancertreatment #communitycounts

Update from Germany. Diweddariad o'r Almaen. 🇩🇪❤️ Fideo Gan Meinir. Firstly, we just want to say thank you. Every donation, every share, every message, and every prayer has helped carry us through the hardest time of our lives. Meinir's treatment is going well, and the multi-faceted approach to healing here has been incredible to witness. We're seeing first-hand just how much thought & care goes into every part of her treatment. However, it has taken much more treatment than anyone initially expected to get her stable enough to begin the advanced immunotherapy they offer here. While this is positive progress, it also means the costs have increased significantly. We've just received the bill for the first two weeks, and it's an astonishing €113,000. It's an overwhelming amount, but without being here, we honestly don't know where we'd be or what condition Meinir would be in. Coming to Germany has given us hope when we desperately needed it, and we will never be able to thank you all enough for helping make that possible. Cancer is so unpredictable that it's impossible to know exactly what lies ahead. At the moment, the doctors here estimate that, if everything goes to plan, we'll need another €80,000–€100,000 to complete Meinir's treatment. As difficult as it is to ask, we still need your help. If you're able to donate, no matter how big or small, we would be incredibly grateful. And if donating isn't possible, simply sharing our GoFundMe page with your friends, family, and community is just as valuable. Every donation, every share, and every kind word brings us one step closer to giving Meinir the best possible chance. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with us. We truly couldn't do this without you. Hiwj diolch. Xx Meins & Ems ❤️

Mae ein harweinydd Meinir yn mynd trwy gyfnod o waeledd wedi diagnosis o ganser cam 4. Mae Meinir yn ysbrydoledig a da ni'n lwcus iawn yn Dawnswyr Delyn a thu hwnt o'i hymroddiad, ei hegni a'i hangerdd tuag at dawnsio gwerin a chlocsio. Mae ei phartner Ems wedi sefydlu tudalen 'gofundme' ar gyfer casglu arian ar gyfer triniaeth yn yr Almaen. Os oes gennych geiniog i sbario neu eiliad i rannu'r neges - byddwn yn ddiolchgar iawn. Rydym yn anfon pob nerth a chariad atat Meinir - ac yn dy ddal yn dyn o bell. Our dance leader Meinir has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Meinir is an inspiration to us all at Dawnswyr Delyn and brings out the best in others with her care, energy and passion for traditional dancing and sense of community. Her partner Ems has set up a 'gofundme' page to raise money for treatment in Germany. If you have a penny to spare or a second to share this message - we would appreciate it. We're sending all of our love and strength to Meinir - and are wrapping our arms around her from afar. Cariad Mawr - Teulu Dawnswyr Delyn 💓 https://gofund.me/82825c465 (Dolen yn y bio / link in bio)
