Here’s a late post about my time in the US. There is lots to love in this life.

Managed to go P4 in racing at both maryhill and Hoopa. I have lots of work to do yet but I’m stoked about my steady progression. Gb downhill

Maryhill and hoopa in the bus with all of my friends has been one of the best experiences. I want to thank @taberwaite for putting so much time, money, and effort into making the bus skate trip ready and of course a thank you to @methlegs for the bus ❤️ everyone that was on volunteer crew for maryhill and hoopa really put the work in, no one put more work in than Ryan Horse and Forrest. Couldn't be more thankful for those guys.

43/100. 2017 was my first Maryhill Spring Freeride. It was my first time experiencing Maryhill with ripping tailwinds and huge packs as I had only been to June freerides before then when the weather is hotter and the track is slower.

Between all of the runs, I borrowed @rosanne_onboard’s Canon 5D to take my first photos on a full-frame camera. I definitely overedited the resulting pictures but even with a critical eye, I still like the results of what I made.

The first photo is of @sneethen mid-pack, the second is of @daggers_rule at the beginning of what would be his most winning season, and the final was of @nate_snackburn doing what he does best: freeriding Maryhill.

It’s fun for me to look back and see these quality shots amongst my early photos when I was using a cheap kit camera. It really goes to show that sometimes, the gear you use does matter.

Pictures captured at the @justinrolo X @wdschampionship event this past September! Beyond stoked to have gotten out to Park City to do some riding with some of my best friends and also having my dad and girlfriend in tow getting to show them a new race location!
