My friends have always had a way of making sure I feel celebrated, no matter the occasion.

I always say my love language is eating a really good meal with people I love, and somehow we managed to build an entire weekend around exactly that :)

It’s taken me 4 days to gather some of my favorite moments from this weekend, and I still don’t think this recap even scratches the surface of how special it was. But I’ll forever come back to these photos whenever I want to remember how it felt :’)

Feeling really, really lucky! 🍦🍧🥤🍋‍🟩

Friends as chosen family, gathering people who do and don’t know one another in community and everything that comes from a communal life fuels me. So the many years of the pandemic, isolation and chronic illness with these gifts occuring in diminished frequency has felt like I was searching for oxygen. Getting back into this collective life that we’re so lucky to live fills my lungs with the deepest, juiciest breaths. Also, I love you, LA!!! #californialove #powerofthepack
