IT’S OFFICIAL: I’M ON THE NOVEMBER BALLOT! 🗳️

On Friday, I filed and qualified as a candidate for the San Francisco Community College Board of Trustees.

As a campus planner and first-generation college graduate, I know how powerful higher education is and what it takes for colleges to grow and thrive. With a clear vision and plan, we can make City College one of the best community colleges in the country!

I’m grateful to City College Trustees Ruth Ferguson, Heather McCarty, and Luis Zamora for their support, as well as to the friends who joined me at City Hall to celebrate this milestone.

85 days until November 3! I’m excited to share this journey with you all. More updates coming soon!

Last week the @sfendc @apacc_sf @bwopa_sf and Willie B. Kennedy Democratic Club hosted a San Francisco District 10 Supervisor Candidate Forum. The candidates were well prepared, the moderators KRON TV News Anchor @stephanielintv & Veteran Bay Area Journalist @otisrtaylorjr were amazing & on point, the residents/voters (approximately 200) who attended engaged and volunteers so much appreciated! A HUGE thank you to the planning team who worked over the past 6 months to put this Forum together!

If you couldn’t attend, you can access the video at www.sfendc.com

Someone once told me that “Friends who Hotpot together, stay together” 🥘

Seems like a very niche assertion, but I think the underlying concept still stands 💙

Was lovely to get dinner this past Monday with many of my longtime @uniteddemclubsf friends and new friends that I made during the @votealanwong campaign 💪🏽

Then, some scattered moments from the election night parties for @alanwongsf and @stephensherrill.

Election Eve, June 2026

It’s been a wild election cycle so far…and while the bulk of my work for @sfdemocrats has been centered around the operations and logistics of the county party to support our endorsed candidates and measures, I still felt it was vitally important to volunteer *even more* of my spare time on weekends and weeknights after my official work duties were done to hit the phones and hit the doors to talk to San Francisco voters directly 🗣️

The core belief that I picked up over a decade ago when I first started to pick up the skills of being a field organizer is that organizing is about having conversations, it’s about sharing your personal story, and it’s about knowing your “why”, and using that as the motivation to fuel your conversations with voters 💙🙏🏽

Tomorrow I’ll post about casting my vote, and I’ll share some stories about why I support all of the above candidates in these photos. Tonight, I have to get some rest, because I’ll be back on those doors again tomorrow morning. If you see me, say hi!

And if you live in San Francisco, please join me in voting for the officially endorsed candidates of @sfdemocrats / @cademocrats 🇺🇸🌁💙

Shirley Weber for Secretary of State
@malia.cohen for Controller
@robbonta for Attorney General
@sally.lieber for Board of Equalization Seat 2
@scott_wiener for CD-11
@kevin.mullin for CD-15
@matthaneysf for AD-17
@stefani4ca for AD-19
@phoebemaffei for Superior Court Judge
@philkimsf for Board of Education
@stephensherrill for District 2 Supervisor
@votealanwong for District 4 Supervisor

What an amazing @sfendc 8th Anniversary Celebration at Lion’s Den in Chinatown. Over 110 members joined the party! Thank you so much. Mayor @danielluriesf , ENDC endorsed Congressional Candidate State Senator @scott_wiener , City Attorney @davidchiu.sf , and District 6 Supervisor @mattdorseysf joined us as special guest speakers, shared their priorities for the upcoming election, and thanked us for all our work over the past 8 years.

District 3 Supervisor @dannysauterd3 stopped in to present us with a Certificate of Honor, signed by the entire Board of Supervisors. “Thank you for elevating forums that address the most pressing issues facing the eastern neighborhoods of our City, while fostering a welcoming and inclusive San Francisco for both longtime residents and newcomers alike.” Supervisor Sauter, we are honored and grateful for the recognition.

Also stopping in to share their congrats were Assessor Recorder @joaquintorressf , District 5 Supervisor @bilalmahmood and Chair of the San Francisco Democratic County Central Committee @nancyhtung .

One key item to note: We did it! We definitely had a reason to celebrate. 8 Years ago, we set a membership goal and announced on Wednesday night that our Club now has over 300 members. We are grateful to our members and supporters for your belief in us and in how we organize, centered on our Mission and Vision. It’s all about working together as a team, and it’s all about you!

Thank you @steven.lee.ventures and the entire @lionsdensf crew for such an amazing venue and @general_chan for the amazing catering!
