how do you sum up lashcon into one caption? This was my first year at LashCon and honestly, it was such a special experience. The best part wasnโ€™t even the education, it was the friendships I know Iโ€™m keeping for life. Iโ€™ve always wanted a girl group and never really had one, and after this weekend, I finally do. You donโ€™t usually meet people and just vibe with them instantly, but the second we all got together, it was like weโ€™ve known each other for a lifetime. That doesnโ€™t happen very often. Throughout my last year in the industry, I met the most amazing and loving women ever. I hate that I only get to see my girls once a year. Itโ€™s always so hard to say goodbye to people you love who live miles away from you. getting to meet the owners and people behind the brands I love was such a treat. These are real women I look up to, not just in business, but as people. maddi and andrea are two of the most amazing women in this industry, encouraging and inspiring in a way thatโ€™s rare to find. weโ€™re so lucky to have them in our corner. you go into lashcon expecting education and knowledge. you leave with that, but also with deeper connections and friendships you werenโ€™t expecting at all #lashcon #lashconference #lashcon2026

โ€ฆ and honestly, that got me strolling down memory lane. Today is officially THREEEEE years since I came to bless the PLA team with my skillz ๐Ÿคช๐Ÿคช๐Ÿคช No but seriously tho, Iโ€™m so insanely proud of how far Iโ€™ve come as a lash artist, educator and even just a person. Join me as we take a look at some of my fave moments on this crazy journey from meeting @michellenguyenpla to where the PLA education department is today. Maybe you can tell me what you think I should be most proud of at the end? When I met Michelle in Las Vegas Nevada over 5 years ago I had no idea Iโ€™d end up moving to the same state we met in to be her right hand in education ๐Ÿคฃ I just remember thinking, omg what a tiny human with such a mighty heart for making the beauty industry a better place through free and accessible education ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ Always been so inspired by her passion for this world and helping people make more money and live a better life, so aligned with my company I started โ€œBeautylisciousโ€ if you know, you know! Plus a WOC and immigrant to boot. My idol Never had I ever gone out of the country before and thanks to @lashbossretreats and PLA, I got to experience Italy in full color and all its glory! Met some of my fave people there and it truly transformed me into someone who looks forward to traveling and booking vacations (something I never allowed myself to do before working for this company that truly encourages travel and time off) I get to work with some of my bestie best bests from behind the scenes as well as sharing speaking and teaching opportunities with them since PLA is not just about lashes but nails and wax too! In my years here Iโ€™ve gained so much confidence and trust both internally as well as from the leadership team that allows me to own BIG projects now like major events, tradeshows and conferences including everything from decor, to campaign plans and even schedules and travel itineraries! (Dream job btw) Another thing that I didnโ€™t realize Iโ€™d grow to actually appreciate is solo travel. Iโ€™m a recovering codependent wife mom and Tia ๐Ÿคฃ So extensive alone time, while I love itโ€ฆ really was never a luxury I permitted myself without a smidge of guilt.

Dubrovnik, you were one for the books. ๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡ทโœจ Beautiful views of Old Town, Kayaking in the Adriatic, visiting iconic film locations and hearing about Dubrovniks history all while talking shop and connecting about lashes! @mavenartistry taught an incredible workshop on branding that had all of our juices flowing and we got to spend our days strolling Old Town eating endless gelato and swimming. It truly was a beautiful time and Iโ€™m so grateful for this one! Dubrovnik isnโ€™t on the line up next year, but itโ€™ll definitely be back in 2028.
