Happy to announce Where’s My Package won the audience choice award for narrative short film in the Dances with Films Festival.
Over the last year it’s been an honor and privilege to collaborate with Jesse Cowell, the writer/director/editor/visionary behind this project.
I learned so much from his meticulous story mapping, layering of personal narratives, frenetic editing style, guerilla filmmaking, and adaptability as things inevitable go sideways on the day of the shoot.
The whole project brought together a diverse cast with a spectrum of unique styles and personalities, and Jesse was able to capture the spark in each performer while strapping a heavy camera and rig to his taxed body.

Grateful that he trusted me to play the lead in this strong ensemble.

Can’t wait for more people to have the opportunity to see his singular comedic cinematic style.

And I acted the shit out of this thing.

And finally THANK YOU to everyone who came out or supported me in any way while shooting this, while also have a full time job and intermittently doing stand-up road gigs and hosting my weekly show in Brooklyn. The candle was burning on all ends.

And extra special thanks to @jeseniagrams for seeing something in me and chirping in Jesse’s ear.
