Lovely meeting up with our friends @snugcampervans for a delicious coffee & cookie this morning ☺️

@foxfire_coffee is a wonderful speciality coffee bar and nano-bakery at the Granish Business Park which is well worth a visit if you're in the area ☕

@snugcampervans is another family-run campervan business here in Aviemore offering a stunning, modern VW campervan for hire 🚐

And yes, we support each other as we have very different Campervans for hire 😂

If you’re looking for a road trip that balances raw Highland beauty with charming villages, wide open lochs, and winding forest roads, the journey from Aviemore to Killin is a stunner.

We set off from Aviemore on a cool, rainy, misty morning and headed off down the A9.

Coming off the A9 at Ballinluig, a stop at Grandtully and @iainburnettchocolatier was a must. No pictures of what we ordered as it simply didn’t last long enough 😂. But the Chocolate Brownie and Frozen Chocolate Ganache come highly recommended!

A riverside stop at the Maragowan campsite, just outside of Killin, provided a tranquil sleep in the shadow of Ben Lawers. Amongst other treats some @cairngormsconnect venison on the @cadacuk bbq made for a hearty feast.

We took a short walk into Killin to view the angry Falls of Dochart. The river rushing over ancient rocks adding to the atmosphere of this quaint, Perthshire village.#snugcampervans #campervanhirescotland #aviemore #killin #lochtay #scotland #vwcamper #vw #luxurycamping
