Chapter 34, Page 271: The Saddest Day My grandmother has left this earth and is finally reunited with Granddaddy. Farewell to the best grandparents anyone could ever ask for. Together, they were the steadfast rocks of our family—the teachers, the nurses, the caregivers, the mechanics, the bank, the therapists, and, most importantly, our friends. They were always there, no matter what we needed. Although saying goodbye to Grandma Betty is difficult, I am at peace knowing that after their time apart, they are finally together again and free from pain. Fly high, Grandma Betty. Granddaddy has been waiting for you. Until we meet again 🤍
