It meant so much to represent both my Dominican 🇩🇲& 🇨🇳 Chinese upbringings and the cultures and flavors that shaped the way I cook.

Stepping into a cooking competition without a traditional kitchen background or formal culinary education was definitely intimidating, but I’m so grateful for the opportunity — especially with such an amazing team beside me. With every event, we learn more, grow stronger, and somehow become even closer. 🥹

I’m looking forward to the finals, where I’ll be stepping in to help the Swank Farm team, rolling with the big dogs, continue learning from incredible chefs, and soak up as much experience as I can.

Culinary Clash 2026 ✨

So grateful to have been part of this experience with the best team I could ask for. It was truly an honor to compete on behalf of Hannah’s Home of South Florida and support such a meaningful cause.

I created food that was close to my heart, and my team and I put in the work and cooked from the heart. I’m incredibly proud of what we put on those plates and how we showed up for each other. I may not have won the competition, but walking away knowing I have a team like mine feels like a win in itself. 🤍

Every experience comes with valuable lessons, and I’m taking all of them with me as I keep moving forward.

Hi friends! 🌺

Life has been moving a little faster than I can keep up with lately. Between work and preparing for my first live cooking competition, I never got the chance to properly share one of my favorite evenings — My Love Letter to Hawaiʻi. 🌺🌊

This dinner was inspired by a place that has given me so many beautiful memories — its food, its people, its warmth, and the spirit of aloha that makes Hawaiʻi so special.

For one evening, I wanted to bring a little piece of that feeling home through food, storytelling, music, and community. From the flavors on each plate to the leis and hula, every detail was created to transport my guests somewhere else for a few hours.

To everyone who came, supported, helped bring the evening to life, and continues to believe in Cooking with Ada — Mahalo, thank you 🙏🏼

These dinners continue to remind me why I started doing this in the first place: to tell stories through food and create experiences that people can carry with them long after the last course.

September will be an exciting month as I’ll be entering a culinary competition, with the finals taking place on October 26th if I advance. Between the competition, upcoming private events, and a few other exciting projects in the works, I’ve officially set the next Ada’s Dinner Series for November 14th. ✨

The Night Market was such a special one for me 🥡🥢

This menu was inspired by the foods I grew up eating or dishes that made me feel warmth in my heart. ♥️

My hope was to share a small piece of that with all of you and create an experience that felt both nostalgic and new.

It was also one of the most technically challenging menus I’ve ever executed. But that’s part of why I love what I do. Every dinner I’m faced with a new set of challenges that humbles me and helps me grow.

Thank you for trusting me to take you on this journey, for embracing flavors that may have been unfamiliar, and for giving me the opportunity to continue doing what I love most—bringing people together through food 🙂. And yes I am blessed with the best team ever, none of this could be possible without them! And of course my amazing photographer : @so.ill.media 🙏🏼
