The production team and cast of ‘Kemi from the Block’ would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who came to see our first showcase last week Thursday. We are grateful for all of your support! ❤

The feedback has been out of this world, and we are so happy that you enjoyed it!

Blood, sweat and tears went into this prodiction and we thank God it was not in vain. The cast worked extremely hard, but seeing/hearing the crowd reactions made it all worth it 🥳

This is not the last of ‘Kemi from the Block’! We hope to book more dates VERY soon, so stay tuned!

If you would like to donate to the production, please check the ‘support us’ page on the back of the programme that was given to everyone at the theatre. Or you can email us at productions@renikegrace.com for more details.

We would love to hear your thoughts on the play, so please drop a comment, or a DM.

More pics and videos coming soon 🤸🏿‍♂️

Thank you so much again! ❤🤗🎉

We are excited to announce that we will FINALLY be showcasing 'Kemi from the Block' at Millfield Theatre on 23rd September!

Set in 2006, ‘Kemi from the block’ follows the life of Kemi; a young black who lives on a council estate referred to as ‘the block’ in inner city London. She is the first-generation child of a Nigerian immigrant mother and a Jamaican father who has been absent for most of her life. The play follows her transition from a young girl who is focused in school, to being targeted and exploited by the wrong crowd and becoming a notorious drug dealer. This play touches on many topics from child exploitation, youth crime and gang violence, issues between the African and Caribbean societies, colourism and most importantly, the gospel and salvation!

Early bird tickets available! link is in the bio 🥳
