wellness belongs to everyone!! 🌸 there are many barriers for woc to access wellness beyond finances…. sometimes we just need a safe space where we know we can dip our toe in without judgment.

Grounded Girl Pilates offered that space. Plus, 100% of proceeds benefitted the great work @freerootoperation is doing to offer free wellness services to families in Chicago impacted by gun violence.

Stay tuned for the next one! We are just getting started!

Grounded Girl Pilates was a time!! 😍 it was amazing to share space with some beautiful women, many who were trying out reformer Pilates for the first time!

Thank you to @bodybarchicago for the welcoming space! S/o my co-host @iamkirstencorley 🤍

One lucky attendee will be winning a facial bar experience with @scratchgoods for them and a few of their homies! 💅🏾

This was only the second event of this series to make wellness accessible for all while making space for the girls to actually take care. Stay tuned to see what’s next!

UNTITLED… this weekend I attended my church’s young adult conference & I don’t think I have the words to express how truly transformational this past weekend was for me

going in I didn’t know exactly what to expect/how it would touch me… and it surpassed everything that I could have thought about it

God was truly in the room.
I was brought to tears countless times.
I worshipped and sung my heart out.
I made new friends and strengthened relationships.
I left with stronger faith & purpose.

I’m truly so grateful for the community at people church, and the way that God has been moving through my life ever since committing to joining a church in chicago this recent january

this past Sunday, we hosted our fourth creative co-work session in collaboration with Ashley Mia Studios (@byashleymia) and The BLKRoom (@the.blkroom).

our co-work sessions are designed for creatives to recharge, be productive, and authentically connect with one another, within safe space.

for this session, our guests received complimentary signature portraits by Ashley Mia Studios (@byashleymia), to support them in their creative endeavors.

we’re extremely grateful for the opportunity to host in a beautiful space such as, The BlkRoom (@the.blkroom) — a space that increases the accessibility for artists and creatives to bring their visions to life.

our sincerest thank you to everyone who came out to hang with us. we adored spending our Sunday with you.

until next time 🤍

Faith & Flow was special 🧘🏽‍♀️an experience rooted in God’s love and anchored in movement, mindfulness and community.

We nourished mind, body and spirit through prayer, pilates, sound bath and open reflection together.

Deep gratitude to @soalimonique @theconstantcollective for curating such a beautiful intentional event, and to @catorabrown for the lovely sound bath and post meditation conversation.

Thank you to everyone who flowed with us🙏🏽💚
