I am so beyond happy. This was the first time I ever tackled a larger passion project and it’s so nice to see people enjoying it. I would love if you could share the film with your friends and family, it seriously means the world to me.

Congrats to @jessie_skonesey and @mike_bussean for your fantastic performances. Y’all made this movie spectacular.
-
Thank you @kylegamble77 @ryan_berardelli for your extensive work on set and capturing these stunning visuals and quality audio. Of course, I must highlight @roy_zabetski and his amazing music that makes this film truly special.

I could not have made any of this without @kalli.jasper. She was my inspiration, my support, and did so much behind the scenes to make this movie happen. Thank you for always being there to help me through these films.

Year 2 of the 48 Hour Challenge 💪🏼😎
-
I always love working with my friends @soaringphoenixfilms and the 48 hour challenge by @ifpphoenix is so fun. It really forces you to make something without the perfectionist/strategist within prolonging a final product. Absolutely love it.
Cant wait for year 3 😋

Last month I had the opportunity to participate in the IFP 48 hour film challenge! Our film, Heat Waves will be premiering at Harkins Scottsdale 101 tomorrow! Here are some BTS photos that I took during the chaos of it all (and thank you to Myles for taking a photo of me).

Our film will be uploaded soon, and I can't wait for you all to see it!

The hunt is on!

"Hunted," the first Morris Code animated short is OUT NOW on the Soaring Phoenix YouTube channel!

Seeing these characters which I've known for so long finally be brought to life in animation is a special moment for me. Thank you to everyone who's been with me along the journey, and here's to many more Morris Code stories in the future!

Some of the storyboards and Pamela's turnaround sheet from the pre-production of "Hunted!" This is the first time Pam and Angelica - characters I've had since HIGH SCHOOL - are on the screen, so I'm beyond excited to share their debut with everyone.

Only two more days until the hunt begins...

TODAY’S THE DAY!! Big Talk, Petty Crime is OFFICIALLY YOURS. Check the link in bio & stories to watch! 🌴

BTPC is a film I hold so dearly to me. As my first and last film as a teen director, it’s the epitome of both making bad decisions and learning how to accept yourself for who you are. This film dives into what it means to be family: not just if you’re blood-related, but that you love and accept each other. There is so much isolation when no one, not even your closest loved ones seem to understand the way you feel. Don’t be afraid to open up & communicate with the loved ones in your life.

Additionally, LGBTQ+ visibility is a topic that is very important to me, which is why I pushed to have BTPC released in June. This story is framed in the ‘90s, a time that was less accepting than the world is now, but I want to also show how we really haven’t come as far as we think. There are so many struggles queer individuals face not only within their identity but also within their families and friend groups.

That being said, please enjoy my fun summer hitman film! 🎞️

One semester left…
This one was good. Very good. I am truly grateful to have so many wonderful people in my life. I am honored and privileged to be able to go to college and write, direct, and shoot movies.

This semester, I wrote not 1 but 2 feature screenplays, ran 2 film clubs: AFA and Fade In: @fadeinasu, hosted the 20th Annual AFA Film Festival @asufilmmakers, directed my SENIOR CAPSTONE PRODUCTION @campcallowayfilm, saw @djotime in Phoenix, started a new job at the ASU Library @asulibraries, and got to meet/work with so many talented and inspiring individuals.

Because I can’t tag you all, I’m going to shoutout everyone right here: @kalli.jasper @aahirgh @jacobsolomondp @_josiedebord_ @shefali.s_ @chloe_fooshee @theohheyitsmj @jarod.s2020 @ethanieldaniel @_connor.j.murphy_ @misha_somogyi @anderdowell @victoriagauza @cassie_wentland @zelise2232 @leia.gibbs @scott_beck_horan @cristina0haraty @lillidanseglio @jamisonmlynarek @adrianas_franco @matt_brown_95 @matt_j.webb @bradenmccawley @harrison.elles @kiaraagrawalll @therealfletcherwhittington @calekaz @ryan.elizabth @rellisrhino @lemondroptears @_lauren_faust @sofia_roberttss @kellimarshall_ @dejahcoe @jacksonmagnabosco @gracew2.0 @alaina.fitz @annoloops @m3gan_04 @monsteran_ @araynajoy @maddyhicks6 @hsoj86 @tjbohling @natedogmillionaire @eve.veronicaa @nyle_the_cinephile @framesbygavin @jaybeardslee @alexrbarnes @nikorras @campaloma @asufilmschool @asufilmmakers @soaringphoenixfilms @fadeinasu
I’m really hoping I didn’t miss anyone. If I did, I apologize and comment to call me out! Thank you all so much for your support through this past semester!

I will say, I’m pretty tired. But, I am so excited to get back to it next semester and finish off my degree at ASU!🔱
