Today, we gather in remembrance and solidarity as we mark five years since the Atlanta spa shootings and stand together against anti-Asian violence.

For organizational leaders: please see the following toolkit to best support your team mates / staff / partners who may be impacted on March 16th. Link to download here: https://ala.fyi/march162024

Together, we honor the lives lost, stand against Asian hate, and continue the fight for justice and healing.

Plus, super grateful to have worked with with great instructors like Jose Carlos, Simi, Mylo, @antopoiesis , Ivan, and connected with other cool martial arts folks online and in person! Thank you to all the folks who have helped and helped our efforts wether as an instructor, admin or supporter ⭐️✨⭐️

Looking toward the new year, we’ll be doing more workshops, collabs, and events, so keep an eye on our insta here, and check out popgym.org for more!

As always, any little bit helps so if you got a little bit to give to our worka d further our projects into 2025, we would appreciate it!

🫂Thank you, @sfzinefest, for the most resonant frequency I’ve experienced in months.

• @voidmoonpress : Thanks for providing The Fool as my guide. And to Teena for answering all my basic witch tarot questions.
• @ysa.sketches : Pleasure to know another flower sketcher. Do follow up on cyanotyping. Pairs beautifully with the material.
• @soaroverhate @southpaw_jess @astrangeday @cheeky.chong : invaluable advice, beautifully rendered.
• @catch.some.zees : It meant a lot to talk with someone who has also been on the FODMAP ride for no goddamn reason
• @harpersim.s : Any day that I can talk “Mother” and Shigesato Itoi in physical space with another person is one for the record. @jamjarastronaut, this is your jam.
• @spraig_ : The imperfections MAKE the mini. Page Seven is beautifully composed. TOS buddies! 🥲
• @martins_artins : Ima dedicate a whole reel to the assembly. Love the material, packaging and presentation. Can’t wait to see future iterations.
• @alleycatindustries : Fucking mayonnaise, right?

Great, safe masked time. At the show and the @silversprocket afterparty, where I learned that @soldoesstuff is someone I wanna know more about based only on this print, now above my workspace.

Grateful to the #zine and #comics community.

I recently had the honor of speaking at @colgatepalmoliveco on a topic that’s deeply meaningful to me: "Amplifying AAPI Voices." 💜📣

This session was Part 2 of my "Be Your Own Cheerleader" series, focused on ensuring your voice is heard and leading with confidence—two key elements of effective self-advocacy.

It was incredibly rewarding to engage with the audience on such a crucial topic. I’m grateful for the positive feedback received through @talkadot and how open and enthusiastic everyone was about the discussion. It’s evident that self-advocacy isn’t just a personal strength but a powerful leadership skill that can truly transform your work environment.

I’m passionate about helping teams cultivate this mindset, and I’d be thrilled to bring this topic to your organization. Let’s collaborate to empower your team so every voice can be heard!
