DUBAI, ALL THINGS DESI THIS WEEKEND? 🔥🇦🇪

If you’re wondering where the party’s at this weekend, save this because DESI Dubai scene is PACKED. 👀

FRIDAY • 2 OCTOBER 🪩
✨ Bollywood Night by Team Innovation & AKS
💃 Genzie Bollywood Party with JAY Disco
Basically, Friday is for Bollywood, dancing and starting the weekend the right way. 🕺🔥

SATURDAY • 3 OCTOBER 🚨
🔥 Sohail Experience with DJ Sohail at Beyond — and this one is personal because I went last time and it was CRAZY!
It’s a Bollywood Boiler Experience / 360 Boiler Experience, so you already know the energy is going to be next level.

🥂 SOBO Saturday Brunch — the usual iconic Saturday brunch, but this week there’s an extra reason to go because they’re also bringing the brunch vibes to Nonya at Taj JLT. 👀

🎧 DJ Chetas at Avenue
Team Innovation & AKS is bringing DJ Chetas down to Avenue — another iconic DJ flown in to Dubai to play, so expect BIG Bollywood energy.

🎶 Baithak by Showoff Entertainment
A Saturday evening for some soulful vibes and a different kind of experience. ❤️

💃 GARBA SATURDAY!
You’ve got TWO different Garba experiences happening:

✨ Disco Dandiya at Troy — Garba meets disco energy.
🔥 Rangilo at Dubai Opera — for those looking for a proper, full-blown Garba experience.

SUNDAY • 4 OCTOBER 🎸
🔥 Battle of the Beats at Haveli
Fresh new bands going head-to-head and competing live! Last week, I was judging this and honestly… I felt like I was on Indian Idol 😂🎤

And I’m telling you — the talent is CRAZY.

So whether you’re looking for Bollywood, brunch, Baithak, Garba, DJs or live music, Dubai has something happening all weekend.

SAVE THIS. SEND IT TO YOUR GROUP CHAT. AND I’LL SEE YOU OUT THERE. 🫶🔥

🔥 DUBAI, LIST OF YOUR BEST DESI PARTIES THIS WEEKEND
Here’s the BEST OF THE BEST happening across Dubai this weekend 👇🏼

🥂 1. After Party Brunch — The brunch is already a sell-out, but the AFTER PARTY is where it’s at! From 5–8 PM, get 3 drinks for AED 100 at Nonya, Taj JLT. 🔥

🎭 2. Laksh Maheshwari — A historical sit-down experience starting from AED 100, with the show kicking off at 7 PM.

🎧 3. Stick No Bills by DJ Jeff — Happening tonight at 25hours Hotel. If you know, you know. 👀

🇨🇦 4. Team Innovation & AKs — A DJ flying in all the way from Canada takes over Avenue Club tonight. And if you’ve been to Avenue, you already know the club is INSANE.

🖤 5. Bolly Techno — Calling all techno heads! One of Indore’s biggest techno names is in Dubai tonight, with a DJ flying in from Bombay too. Plus Tushar & Nitesh, two of my favourites, on the decks!

💃 6. Rodolphe — The famous Instagram drama performer I watched in Kuwait is bringing the chaos to Troy tonight, with Bollywood Beats. This one is going to be CRAZY. 🔥

🎸 7. Battle of the Beats — Sunday — End the weekend at Haveli at 9 PM and discover fresh bands going head-to-head. If you love discovering new voices, DON’T MISS THIS.

📍 Save this, send it to your squad

I realised I’ve been posting here for years without ever properly introducing myself. 🙃

So, hi. I’m Kanika.

I design things, build brands, create events, start businesses and generally have too many ideas going on at the same time.

This is the first of many posts where I’m going to share a little more about what I do, what I’m building, what happens behind the scenes — and probably everything else in between.

Consider this the introduction. 🌸
