🍞 SOURDOUGH BREAD CLASSES — FALL 2026 DATES ARE HERE! 🍞

If you’ve been wanting to learn how to make sourdough at home but have no idea where to start… this class is for you. 🤎

I’m excited to announce my next three Sourdough Foundations Classes:

✨ August 22 (spots still available!)
✨ September 19
✨ October 17
🕙 10 AM–1 PM

And these will be my LAST SOURDOUGH CLASSES OF 2026! 🎉

November and December are already filling up with markets, events, and lots of family-focused time, so after October, classes will take a little holiday break. Sourdough classes will return in 2027!

This is a beginner-friendly foundations class designed to take the intimidation out of sourdough and give you everything you need to confidently start baking at home.

Never made sourdough before? Perfect.

Already tried it but feel like you need a refresher or want to better understand why your dough is doing what it’s doing? This class is great for that, too!

We’ll cover the fundamentals of sourdough and get hands-on with the process so you leave feeling like “Okay, I can actually do this.” 🤎
Your class includes everything you need to get started:

🥖 Bread basket
🔪 Bread lame
📖 Recipe card
🌱 Starter care instructions
🍞 A loaf to bake at home after class
🤎 A fed sourdough starter to take home

Classes are held in my home kitchen, creating a small, relaxed, and welcoming environment where there’s plenty of time to ask questions and get hands-on guidance.

📱 Interested in joining? Text me at 805-807-6800 for more information and to reserve your spot!

And to all of my past students — I’d LOVE your help sharing this! 🥹🤎

If you’ve taken a class with me and loved it, share this post to your stories, tag a friend who has been wanting to learn, or tell someone about your experience. Your word-of-mouth support means so much to my little bakery!

Save these dates, grab your spot, and come learn how to make sourdough with me before classes take a break for the holidays! 🍞✨

Everyday without Hot Dog ride is a good training day for @hotdog.ride - this past Saturday’s route was a blast. We were blessed with a cool westward breeze, overall low traffic and a plethora of climbs and descents that kept us on our saddle toes.
We encountered some odd semi’s on some descents and fortunately we all made it back safe, alive and from I remember no mechanicals whatsoever. So much good ness is awaiting this weekend with @attaquer @greatdescent with @la.tourist.race and @letsridecyclery. Thanks for the sweet route and camaraderie @socal_rouleur @thecritdad and everyone who I left out🙏🏽✨🙌 Great energy, great vibes, getting stronger!

Finally got to stand on the podium with @socal_rouleur taking 1 and 2 for @teamendureracing. A nasty bridge to a breakaway of 3. We made it a group of 5 and stayed away. Almost destroyed at the end by some geese. 😅

Well that’s a wrap of Tour De Murrieta. Did much better than the last time I was here. Congrats to my teammate @socal_rouleur for taking home the 🥇in GC and two 🥉place podiums in each race of the 35+ 3/4. Good job everyone on @teamendureracing. It was a team win.

🍩 Ride sprint section on Western. I should have tucked in behind @omgh8trs but decided to eat a bunch of wind instead. @socal_rouleur gets redemption coming around me at the end. Solid training. Comment or dm me if you’re in the video and I’ll tag you.

Descending Crest on the Donut Ride. Had the cadex ultra 50s on. Felt very stable (no speed wobbles). Maybe not the most powerful or longest but probably the fastest I’ve sprinted the 52/11 up to 130rpm.

Anytime I’m on a flat over 40mph I practice the sprint technique to see how it feels. The first time I tried it felt super scary being that most of my race sprint finishes end under 40mph. But over time it’s become more comfortable to stand up and whip it at that speed. Now to somehow get up to that speed with energy in the last 20 seconds of a crit. 🫠

If this doesn’t make you drop everything and everyone and move to LA to ride bikes with @hotdog.ride then I don’t know what will.

Dedicated to our fearless leader @mikesimpsondop. Get well soon ❤️‍🩹. As always this ride is sponsored by @attaquer and starts at @waltsbar in Eagle Rock at 8:30 with coffee from @foundcoffeela every last Saturday of the month.

Thanks for everyone who came out. Remember stay tubeless. @socal_rouleur @jakedward @thelucaslyons @scottdukes @brutal_dilan @_chrishoward @kyle.kinder @greekcube @kym.louie @davey_halls @steely_dad @juce.coffee
