I believe the good we put into the world has a ripple effect. A child feels supported. A family feels welcomed. Someone is inspired to show up for their community. We may never know how far that reaches, but we can keep doing our part.

That’s the heart behind @soccerex Impact Day and a part of myself I’m proud to bring into Soccerex. Love, connection and doing good with the opportunities we’ve been given.

To my wife, @ms.torresnavia , and @alyssabugg , thank you for putting so much love and work into making this dream a reality. You helped create something beautiful, and I’m so proud we did this together.

Through The Players Network Wellness Academy, we support women in soccer far beyond their athletic careers. The more I understand the football industry, the more I realize how much there is beyond the pitch.

@soccerex 2026 was more than attending conferences. It was an opportunity to see football from different perspectives.

Over those days, I had the chance to listen to conversations about the future of the game, the growing role of investment, representation, commercial strategy, and the increasingly global nature of the football industry.

But some of the most valuable moments happened outside the panels.

Meeting professionals with whom I already collaborate, exchanging ideas with colleagues I respect, and even unexpectedly meeting a young lawyer who already follows and subscribes to Global Sport Law & Management reminded me that this journey is also about the people we meet along the way.

As a former professional soccer player and now a sports lawyer, experiences like Soccerex allow me to keep seeing the game from new angles — beyond the pitch, beyond the legal side, and increasingly as part of a global industry.

There is always more to learn, more people to connect with, and more opportunities to bring that global perspective back into the work we do every day.

Grateful for the conversations, the connections, and the experience.
