I am honored to have been included in a vastly knowledgeable test group for Kirsty’s @cosy.adventure.knits first sock pattern 🥰 London Fog socks is a clearly written pattern with much attention to detail yet very intuitive for the adventurous beginner on up to experienced sock knitters. I am using a sock blank dyed by Dawn @sockobsessionyarns in colorway Salt Water with contrasting yarn dyed by Keya @cedarhillyarns in Abyss. Look for this pattern to be published in September. Yay! My @foodlifeline #FoodFrenzy custom knit donation #1 of 2 is complete. These are the #NaluMitts by Leila Raabe for @quinceandco. They are knit in @malabrigoyarn Aroyo in the Paris Night colorway (thanks, @sockobsessionyarns). The hardest part was taking my sweater off long enough to pose it for the photo. The best part is that I have a whole skein + bits left. The yarn is on preorder right now from @sockobsessionyarns and is the bioluminescence colorway. I picked a basic raglan pattern for a few reasons.

First, just to allow the yarn to do the talking. Second, I love a big old stockinette project. It was a joy to make for a first go into large garment knitting. @makermaker_store #realeasyraglan

I get so many compliments on the yarn, and am so so so happy with how my sweater came out. It’s warm, but not hot. Bouncy and sproingy. Just the right amount of comforting weight. I love it!

I have the honor of getting to be apart of test knitting for @urbanchiccrochet with her "Romancing the Beanie" pattern (release date coming soon). This beanie fits my 21in head well, with enough room to tuck my hair up if I need to. Its approx 9" tall & 8" wide unblocked.
The patterns customizable for multiple sizes using either Super bulky or Bulky weight yarns. Its easy enough to mindlessly watch a show or listen to a book while being complex enough to keep the knitting fun and engageing.

Yarn is 100% hand dyed merino wool, Bulky weight, colorway "Sienna" for brimm and top of beanie and colorway "Lychee cheesecake" for cable work - by @sockobsessionyarns

Tag is Faux leather, done by @allthiswood.llc

I love knitting socks, just as I hoped I would. It's so easy to carry around, to pick up and put down, and to work on new techniques in small doses. This time around, I'm gonna try for some colorwork!

This is my second pair of #puckersocks by @generalhogbuffer, the first pair was a gift knit that I only took a picture of while I was washing haha. They are a from a beautiful free pattern available on ravelry. I generally dislike the way mosaic knitting looks with more involved pattern, but I think this is a perfect use and the optical illusion / simple pattern really shines, (and it would be a nightmare to float for so long in a typical stranded knit haha). I was able to make these a little longer than normal without shaping since they are pretty stretchy, so they will work well with boots this winter! This was also another pair from my #wip pile that I think I started 3 years ago.. so ✅ one more off the list!

Yarn: @sockobsessionyarns the neon pinky orange coral is merino 2 ply resilient in color ‘speed’, love this color has really nice little variations and is a little thicker than some sock yarns.
@sugarbushyarns itty bitty in ‘Erie shores’ I got a bunch of these off someone’s destash on Etsy and all 3 colors I have tried have really beautiful pooling and look great paired with stripes / bold patterns.
