POV: having the honor to sit principal for the inaugural Southern Orange County Orchestra concert 🔥🎵! Here we have the cellos rocking out to the epic ending of Carl Orff's "O Fortuna" from Carmina Burana! Last Saturday's concert was an absolute blast and the audience energy was amazing. Special shoutout & BRAVI to our fearless conductor @hankyolkoo 🤘🏻!

The South Orange County Orchestra’s inaugural concert featured the world premiere of Pamela Madsen’s wonderful orchestra composition Dare to Dream. Fabulous trumpet section!

Last night was the inaugural concert for @socorchestra! It was an eclectic night of music previewing what’s to come for this organization. My personal highlight was performing alongside Randy Crenshaw while he sang “If I Were a Rich Man,” a man with such an unbelievable list of credits in Hollywood I wouldn’t even know where to start with listing them… Looking forward to the next one SOCO! 🎻😊

What a joy and honor to be a part of the inaugural concert for South Orange County Orchestra! 🍊🎻

The program was titled “Dare to Dream”, and the music was a variety mix serving as a “sneak peak” for future SOCO concerts. Music ranging from Star Wars, Carmina Burana, Tchaikovsky, a new commission, and even NARUTO!! We also had a guest artist, Randy Crenshaw! 😱

It was especially great making some new percussion friends in OC! I had a great time performing such fun music with these folks. Thanks for letting this San Diegan crash the party! 🥁😎

Bravo to Ryan Koo for putting this whole thing together, I can’t wait for the next one!
