Someone asked me recently, “why did you switch [from fashion design] to magazine ownership?” @iconicmag67 Now I know that most times people ask questions like this to be nosey…and maybe a tad judgmental…and sometimes the individual just wants to know what’s going on or they may need validation or justification for a change they too have been thinking about. My answer was this, “I didn’t. I still looooove fashion design and would absolutely enjoy being free to create all the time but unfortunately that hasn’t been my reality…ICONIC MAGAZINE is my way of staying connected to all of the arts including fashion design, while working on my health.” I explained further that I’ve been met with some physical challenges as a result of fibromyalgia, my hands don’t work the way they used to and some days my entire body (and mind) is just uncooperative. I need help from professional pattern makers & seamstresses to get my designs cranked out…ICONIC, when it’s a full on success, will help me too as an artist, towards that goal. So this is why I need…all artists need, this ICONIC publication. In a world where creation is literally EVERYTHING, artists should always feel free, confident and unburdened by capitalism and what’s become of this country. We can absolutely make things better but we have to come together and begin trusting the ICONIC plan and process. Please consider donating to ICONIC MAGAZINE by texting ICONICU to 53555 and become part of this movement/revolution. ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX REFUNDABLE and we have a surprise for those that choose to invest even $1 towards the campaign. Thank you! 🥰 #iconic #magazine #artistsforartists #artistsforpeace #artistsforclimate #artistsoftheworld #artistsfortheearth #artforartssake #filters #artfilters
