My entry for @sodonesparceart ‘s #haam400contest !! Arenia, the Flying-type Gym Leader and her partner: Sanctuini, the Lakeblood Pokémon.
•
Arenia came to Haam from Sinnoh with the goal of establishing a new Church of Arceus. When her Church didn’t take off, she decided to spread her message by becoming a Gym Leader instead, and ended up developing a guilty love for Pokémon battles.

Introducing the beginning of the first "Fakécosystem".

These will be very small sets of Fakémon designs (< 10) that form a connected ecosystem!

These Fakécosystems are meant to show the interconnected web of life that we have on our planet. Highlighting that everything is connected and therefore is at risk due to the climate crisis.

But not only that, they are supposed to show the utter brilliance of nature using Fakémon as a medium, in the same way the Pokémon company always has.

The Kofi is LIVE!! Kicking off with these 6 wonderful designs donated to Fakécology by the fantastic @wispiedex and the brilliant @frenchs_fakemon!!

You can donate a small amount or buy a design you love! But we all know these are difficult times, so if you can't spare anything at the moment all we ask is you share this so we can help fund the fight against climate collapse.

Thank you all!

Alrighty better late than never, I still made it in time for this one. Entry for @sodonesparceart's #haam400contest!

Lemme tell you about the knucker of lyminster and the knight who slew it. According to research it was a water serpent or dragon that lived in knuckerholes (though for this design I made it a well) and caused trouble for the locals so it was decreed it would be slain by a knight.

Except in this version, the knight and the dragon became buddies! So our gym leader Wick here is pretty much meant to resemble the knight along with his ace Wellyminst representing the knucker. Wick's armor even resembles the well that his ace wears.

I imagine Wellyminst can hide in its bricken lower shell to protect itself from attacks, though I decided to keep it pure dragon and not make it rock dragon or water dragon.

I also made redraws of the other mons on Wick's team because I needed to overachieve today.

My submission for the #sodonesparcehaamcontest is Molosk and Coanch! These Pokemon are sea snails, but are based on a telephone booth and coach bus respectively. They also play on the concept of “snail mail”
Molosk comes from Mollusk and kiosk.
Coanch comes from conch and coach bus.
