When we woke up this morning the principal of my sons school called to let us know he’s being recognized for getting 1st in his wrestling tournament. I asked him if he had a speech prepared and he said no. And I started to give him a lesson on public speaking and how to thank people that helped him along the way. I also played snoop dog’s speech for him so he can always recognize his individual efforts. I think we all have wrestling matches within, on our own mat, in our own tournaments. Sometimes we get 1st place, sometimes we lose. I am fortunate to be surrounded by people who lift me up, keep me grounded, and are a vector for success. Work hard. Love hard.
