Spoiler alert: this is without a doubt my favourite room in the house & you guys are going to LOVE the finished result 🥹

An important side note: we found out the hard way that after ripping out the built in cabinets, you can’t patch in your existing carpet if it’s a loop carpet as the lines don’t blend 💔so a very expensive mistake was made and our carpet needed replacing so pleaseeee bear that in mind if you’re thinking of taking your cabinets out and don’t have a carpet that can be easily patched 🤍

When did it all become so complicated

Not life - although that’s a chat over a huge coffee and stories another day 🤣 (SEN mum hanging on for her life here advocating 24/7 )

No I mean this little corner of the internet … Instagram. The hooks, the carousels, the talk to camera, call to action, 3 second attention grab, the send share copy link save tag a friend mention the dog post via carrier pigeon complexity of social media?! 😵‍💫

I’m an Instagram old school fan still, give me a capture of a beautiful space any day of the week. Life is loud and busy I’m sometimes unsure whether our social media pages also need to be?

Thoughts - do you miss the old instragm / social media days?

I completely forgot to post the full video of this project…This apartment started with concrete walls and pretty much a blank canvas. Everything you see was renovated from the ground up, from the finishes and materials to the layered lighting that completely changed the feel of the space.
Project managing it from abroad definitely came with its challenges, and there were plenty of moments where things didn’t go exactly to plan, but seeing it all come together made it worth it.

Warm, layered, elegant and exactly what I had in mind. 🤍

A little corner of our home that rarely gets featured for the amount of time we use it 🤎🍂

After a few simple changes, including FINALLY getting the TV mounted, it’s become the cosiest space. Swipe for before ft the wrinkly old carpet 🫠➡️

Do you have a room in your home that rarely makes it onto your feed? 👀🍁

HOME

Can you believe we will be celebrating our NINTH Christmas on this house this year?! Where has the time gone..
A little snippet of the house.. we actually haven’t made many changes in the house over that time .. I’d love to start making a few more, but the time seems to fly past..

Bens Office.. & the children’s snug

Swipe to see the house..

Line Closet

Forever one of my favourite spaces.. it’s a great size, and can all be hidden away.

Finally getting there with the bedroom. Furniture, rug, chairs and blinds in. It’s so nice being able to get ready in the house after six years…patience is a virtue.

It’s been just over a year since we’ve got the keys 🔑

Many rooms now painted, some fully furnished, 1 overgrown garden. We’ve still got a long way to go!
