Things I’ve been-
Learning lately.
1. I am not the best feeler-speaker.
If I start talking and it has to do with
Big feelings of love or gratitude
I will cry or ramble, or tell
A story that does not make sense.
Like I did for my mamaw’s 70th birthday party
(10 some odd years ago)…
2. My husband is not my God.
Obvious right? Well I think as wives,
We slowly find ourselves relying on
The provider, the jokester, the motivator,
The friendly one, the ministry leader
When God is our ultimate Maker and
Is the only one who can truly
Be all these to me.
Plus, a man is not meant to carry the
Weight of meeting my needs in every way.
3. I am loving life.
Like, I have never been outside this much
Since I was a child.
I’m outside so much of the day
And doing things I enjoy with little people.
It has been a special reminder of how God
Knows me.
4. My faith is fiery.
My prayers are alive and they are deep.
When you pray deep prayers
God has the opportunity to fill them.
Why would we live any other way?
5. Reading Christian non-fiction is important.
We need to see how God is moving
Around the world, in times past and present.
My world has changed because others
Chose to see what God was doing as
Worth writing down.
6. Whole milk is not bad for you
In fact I need it.
Grass fed is easier on the digestive system.
7. I love the library.
It’s such a homey place
And you should probably go hang out there soon.

I hope you’re learning something too. 🫶🏼
