Yesterday, I took my final walk as Miss North Dakota Teen USA. 🩷✨

As I handed down my crown, I couldn’t help but reflect on this incredible 5-year journey of competing, growing, learning, and becoming the person I am today. What started as a dream turned into some of the most unforgettable memories, friendships, and opportunities of my life.

To every director, sponsor, coach, judge, friend, family member, and supporter who believed in me along the way—thank you. Your encouragement carried me through every stage, every challenge, and every victory. I am endlessly grateful for the love and support you’ve shown me throughout this journey.

While this chapter has come to a close, the lessons, memories, and people I’ve met will stay with me forever. 👑

Overnight, my hair grew 10 inches longer… and I crowned a new Miss Iowa Teen USA. Being Miss Iowa Teen USA has been a lifelong dream, and after 13 years of pageantry, I still cannot believe I had that honor. Iowa truly has my whole heart, and I hope I was able to represent Iowa as the loving and joyful home it truly is. Competing at Miss Teen USA was life changing, there is no better group of girls than this year’s teen class! I am so glad to have met some of my closest friends and have the opportunity to shine. Being voted Miss Congeniality by 50 talented, kind, and beautiful women still leaves me speechless. Just to know I have touched people, and left a lasting impression, is enough.

There are so many people to thank. I want to start with Kelly, who has been an incredible positive light in my life for 10 years. Kelly made all of this happen, and has been resilient and strong this last year. I love you, Kelly!

Next, thank you to my mom, dad, and brother Cam. You guys have traveled hundreds of miles watching me compete over the years. Thank you for steaming and carrying the wardrobe, and picking me up when I am down

Thank you to Jen and Emma for coming down all the way from Kansas for little old me. You guys are truly family and I love you both more than anything. Emma, you will forever be my bestie!! Jen, thank you for making my glam fabulous, I owe you the world!

Thank you to all my sponsors for making me look my best, feel my best, and present my best. I was fortunate enough to be surrounded by love this year!!

To Hayley, thank you for taking me in as a little sister. I am so happy to call myself your sweet baby’s auntie, Chuck! I love you beautiful.

Thank you to all the friends who have cheered me on. I truly believe the best pageant trophy you can win is a friend. Abby, I will always smile when I see you shine on stage. Mya, I can’t help but laugh when you start laughing.

After 13 years, I have decided to take a short break from pageantry. I hope to take a step back and watch as my friends thrive. I want to use the skills pageantry has taught me to make a difference, wherever I can. But don’t worry! I’ll be back ;)
