What a week! Recovering from a stubborn cold, busy at work, lots of snow shoveling... Luckily, the mailbox kept me busy too. Thanks to @mustardandpicklespost for a very early and...interesting birthday greeting! I had to supply a party dress for this old black and white photo.😅 Thanks to @postcardsfromlisleinchen for two great cards! I'm glad you had a good visit to the US! Thanks to @rachelannwentworth for the Space Shuttle reply card with perfect stamps! Thanks to @trilala_84 for the cute Christmas postcard with a special postmark. Thanks to @mailbylis for the terrific book card. I'm still enjoying my Agatha Christie! Thanks to @azbukvarium for the beautiful illustration and amazing stamps! Thanks to @sofia_friend for the palm trees. Just in time for the snow tonight.❄️😂 Thanks to @dear.xoxomiso for the beautiful sailboats. Yes, they definitely have an eighties/late seventies look! And thanks to @2021emart for the awesome Florida Man card.😂 Also a special thank you to @snailmailtexan for thinking of me during your stamp show trip! I look forward to sharing these baseball postcards!⚾😄 Thanks again to all, and have a great week!🙂

This week I've been recovering from that illness everyone used to have but I waited until Friday to get, so I haven't gotten to the mailbox yet, but here's the fun variety of arrivals before what promises to be a busy week ahead....Thanks to @rachelannwentworth for the beautiful Anderson Design Group mermaid card and coordinating pictorial postmark from your namesake town. Happy 150th! Thanks to @dodgesanddaisies for the lovely Lantern Press card of Pisgah National Forest. Always happy for an excuse to swap cards with you! Thanks to @thebadstenographer for the stately Lantern Press Betsy Ross House card. Glad you got to spend some time with her! Thanks to @love_in_stamps for the fun fisherman card. Love the matching stamps! Thanks to @sofia_friend for the excellent Arizona card. I'll have to keep it in mind next time I'm tempted to park next to a saguaro cactus! Thanks to @merofthemailmaid for the peaceful looking card of the Owens River. Hope you all are staying cool in CA! Thanks to @firna_cards for the wonderful anti-alcoholism poster from 1929! So interesting that it's called a "leftover from the past"! Thanks to @penpalwithem (hi neighbor!) for the great 1000 Islands Village card. I'm sure I'll be asking you questions about the islands soon! Thanks to @akaroxy for another terrific vintage Cosmo cover and superb stamps slashed by harried/disgruntled Canada Post workers! And thanks to @2021emart for the sweet hummingbird card! Finally, in case you are reading this, thanks to Alison from the UK for a surprise note and fantastic Rolling Stones card. A reply is on its way! Thanks again to all, and have a great rest of the week!🙂

A great week of cards! Thanks to @agnesmehi for the amazing maximum card from Switzerland, which she had the foresight to protect with clear plastic (the postal service would have ruined the pictorial postmark otherwise!). Thanks to @troutpoutt for a wonderfully weird mail "experiment," which managed to find its way here from Bulgaria. Thanks to @snailmailtexan for the terrific Iron Man PHQ card and matching stamps. Thanks to @zerudaa for the bright and springy bicycle card. I love it! Those stamps! Thanks to @duchess_antoinette for the great woodcut postcard in honor of National Parks Week. Thanks to @akaroxy for the informative palmistry card from your jaunt to Salem! Thanks to @willbe_myself for the Brenham, Texas Bluebell Ice Cream card. Someday I'll do a cross-country ice cream tour. Thanks to @rockabillynic for the lovely paper airplane card and memories. Thanks to @sofia_friend for the beautiful painting from the Norton Simon Museum. And thanks to @2021emart for the cool card of Tatooine. I'll try to keep cool! I actually just turned on the AC in my apartment for the first time. Oh, and a very special thank you to @muddypawspost for a super nice card from my former stomping grounds, Portland, the Rose City! I hope the meetup was fun. Thanks again to all, and have a great week!🙂
