2025 Travel Roundup (💜 = solo trip)

My favorite place to travel in 2025 was Monet’s Gardens in Giverny. It was a fairytale come true to step into his home and gardens to see his art and how much care he put into all of it.

I never expected to see it in my lifetime. I feel so incredibly lucky. 🥹😭

I navigated there all by myself, too, which was tricky but incredibly empowering!! Getting there and back successfully solo made me feel so much more confident and capable and trust myself. 💫

This one took me a while… a collection of photos from my last week of in person classes with some very special people, that are more than just clients and a pay cheque to me. It was very hard to say goodbye, even though with many of these folks, I will be able to continue to work with virtually on a screen. I will never have them back in that Studio 1 Pilates Ottawa space, and on the apparatus, and that was tough.

Some have been with me truly since day one, from when I was training to become certified in Pilates 19 years ago, some started with me at my first studio in my parents house 18 years ago, some came when I opened my home studio 15 years ago, and some for only a few months, but they still left their mark. Some faces are missing, but they are not forgotten.

Please keep in touch, please keep moving, and please continue to hear that little ‘angelic’ voice in your head reminding you to stand up straight and relax your shoulders. So much love, Julie. 💜
