A year ago today, I boarded a ship that would become my home for the next four months, having no idea how much my life was about to change.

That ship took me to places I never imagined I would actually get to see with my own two eyes. Places I had only ever heard about, learned about in school, or seen in pictures suddenly became real.

365 days later, I still think about those four months all the time. I miss @semesteratsea, I miss waking up somewhere new, I miss the people who became family, and I miss the feeling of having the entire world right in front of me.

I’ll never be able to fully explain what those four months meant to me, but I know I’ll spend the rest of my life being grateful that I got to live them.

105 days that changed me forever.

The Netherlands 🇳🇱

I’ve absolutely fallen in love with Amsterdam in the past few days I’ve been here. I have had such a great time and I can’t wait for these people I’ve met to become lifelong friends and I look forward to making new ones too. Most importantly, I can’t wait for the other memories I will make on this journey.
