my first season with an independent group ! holy crap I can't even count how many times I was scared shitless throughout the season but I learned so much. I also can't count how many times I laughed so hard I was on the verge of tears. I've never marched with such a special group of people.

Thank you Red Wave for taking me in and making me feel like I belonged ❤️

Thank you to the basses for challenging and uplifting me when I needed it most. yall are my second family and I miss you guys every day.

If I had the opportunity to march with these people again, I would take it every single time without a second thought. You guys made this season really fricking special.

To Mya, I was always laughing when I was with you. I think about the things you would do sometimes throughout the season and laugh to myself. Thank you for always being a person I could ask anything to. Thank you for being you, please never change.

To Sierra, I enjoyed every interaction we’ve had. You such have a big heart and you made me laugh so much. You’re one of the most selfless, kindest people I’ve ever met and you work so incredibly hard. Thank you for everything.

To Shae, I really wished you could’ve gone with us to Dayton. Thank you for being there for people when they needed it. I won’t ever forget the car conversations we’ve had. You were a great role model this season and thank you for keeping us all together and safe.
