ALBUM PRESENTATION
FIG THIEF - WE PLANTED PEONIES
along with FreeTheStyles Band
Crea, Amsterdam

Peone, healing Hades,
Transformed into a flower:
The peony

The transformation of one
Heals the other
Creative metamorphosis creates a space for redemption
From distant wounds, from wounds that go beyond the boundaries of our physical body

We have called it the ‘bad for the ego system’
To transcend precisely these boundaries

But we have asked ourselves many times:
How can we do this? How can we transcend individual boundaries
Without, however, diminishing anyone’s voice
Without taking away personal stories
Different stories that come from different journeys through woods, oceans, deserts, cities and villages

For now, our answer is co-creation
Telling our stories
in a space of vulnerability
Transforming our individuality into transindividuality

Step by step
It’s Bad For the Ego System
