This morning i had the pleasure to teach a therapeutical, restorative, deep relaxation class with breathing exercises for a beautiful group of psychotherapist ladies.

Experiential demonstation of my unique and highly successful method: combining breathing exercises with restorative yoga to alleviate anxiety, create the feeling of safety and comfort for the body and shifting the nervessystem from fight and flight to the rest digest and restore state.

The combination of this soft, somatic appoch and psychotherapy has brought so many positive effects in the recovery of many patients with high level of stress, trauma, ptst and more.

Immense gratitude to @sofiletitre for inviting more therapists to personally experience the deep healing, rejuvanating and recovering effect of this hollistic approach. This 'down-to-earth', science based restorative yoga approach helps people to:
* tone the vagal nerves to shift more fluidly towards relaxation
* create the feeling of safety
* learn how to take care of their body and their needs
* process supressed emotions and traumas in a pace that suits them
* practice selfcare
* learn to soften, cope, and alleviate anxiety
* empowering to learn easy and always accessible tools, like the breath, to direct the shift themselves
* creating distance, acceptance and compassion towards limiting thoughts, past experinces and their challenges
* trusting in the change and in their recovery
* create new neuropathways
* ... and so much more....

I hope to spread this beautiful tender method with the collaboration of more therapists, bringing recovery for more people. The world needs this more than ever.

I am so grateful for one of the most beautiful collaborations of 2025 with @sofieletitre and @praktijkvdkamp . We have created a psychotherapy support group with somatic classes, teaching my unique combination of breathing exercises and restorative yoga for a group of people with trauma and embodied anxiety.

Cognitive behavior theraphy works even better when combined with supersoft breathwork and restorative yoga.💞 The classes were all designed to downregulate the nerveus system, to create trust and the feeling of safety so the traumatic experience can be healed.

The tools they have received have helped the students to practice at home too, giving them the empowerment that they can do it, they are safe in the here and now and they can aleviate anxiety.

💖 And the result: many of the students has felt comfort, ease and safety in their body for the very first time. 💖

i am so looking forward to help more people together in 2026.

We are on a mission, trying to make the World a better place. 💞
Bringing love, care and softness to people's life who has experienced horror, injustices and lots of pain..
The world needs this more then ever!
Love and Light 💖
