September 1st, 1989 DEAR DIARY

Oh Heather, you’ve been apart of my life since I was conscious enough to understand what I was watching. I have dreamed to be in this show since 8th grade, I’ve dressed up from heathers twice; ironically enough, not as Chandler. The confidence and growth I’ve made throughout my theatre life to become someone who can carry the weight of big red with ease, is something I’m very proud of. I pulled up to that audition ready to kill and I’m thankful I was given the opportunity to bring her to life….. and death ;) Heather Chandler remains TOP BITCH in my mind, Mourning her and cherishing my time with her….. miss you byatch <3

(SHOUTOUT TO @laura_elizabeth811 for burning me this soundtrack on a cd during TLM 2013)

I never made my heathers post, waited a WHOLE YEAR for this. How honored am I to miss such an incredible show with so many talented and kind people. This cast truly was one in a lifetime. The friends I’ve made keep my heart full. And proud to report that group chat is active and spammed with supportive messages and love. LOVE YOU WESTERBURGERS #heathers

Dear Diary,

Happy Heather’s Day!! It’s been a year since I found out I would (finally!) get to play Martha. And I truly haven’t shut up about it since. But when you get to play a dream role alongside some of the most talented individuals (both on and offstage) that I have the privilege of now calling friends? Well, needless to say it’s an experience I still hold very close to my heart.

Enjoy some more pictures of my favorite moments of the show! 💕

MEET THE CAST AND CREW: Sophia Perez is Ellie!

Sophia is so excited for Spiral: A Film to be her first ever short film. She is a BFA Musical Theater major at Florida Southern College. This character is a new area for her to explore, and she very much so enjoyed the challenge of figuring out who Ellie really is.
