Battery Quote: “Oh my God..”

The absolute love and passion for the activity, as well as music in general from this member is insane. Sofia has been a member of battery since her freshman year, when she marched bass, and moved up to snare her sophomore year. Since then, she’s marched at Impulse, and has been tirelessly grinding out her first season at Elán this year. She can be extremely tough on the section, but it’s all love, and it’s all from a place of care and commitment. It’ll be extremely tough seeing you leave this year. We can’t wait to see where this season takes you, and good luck at Elán, Sofia!

Impulse 24

Very very very very very delayed Impulse post.

I just wanted to say how grateful I was for my experience at Impulse this season. The people I met and connected with are some of the best parts of my year. I wanted to give a thank you to the staff for making the season what it was and giving Impulse the opportunity to medal for the first time in years. I also want to give a thank you to bassline, Soohoo, and North, the season wouldn’t be what it was without y’all. And a special thank you to Sofia, wouldn’t have been able to get through impulse without you. I’m not going to lie, this season was very hard for me, due to a lot of stuff but I got through it and became a stronger performer because of it. Thank you Impulse 24!

Goodbye, That New York Feeling 💙

(Wrote this a few months ago just kept forgetting to post, edited a bit but yk)

(Also I wish I had more pictures from this season but this is pretty much what I’ve got lol.)
