This has been sitting in my drafts for like…..WEEKS (when the audio was trending a bit more, but I can’t ever post on time for any of those), and I finally decided to post it bc OH MY GOD I need to move on and edit something else and not obsess over all the details until I go crazy. I have like two other edits in my drafts basically finished and !!!this one!! Uff what a pain it is to make a thirst trap @kvbvohra I have NO idea how you do it 😩

But anyway I wanted to edit my husband (HOTTER THAN EVER) in his indie film role in Ek Hasina Thi bc I was salivating a little…nice extension to my favorite Being Cyrus, but clearly are two distinct characters.

4 baddies in a room ❤️‍🔥‼️ Everyone looked so fuckin goooood l didn’t know where to look. Started out just editing Saif from this but I had to include stunning Sushmita Sen, Tabu, and Karishma because they all ATE so hard. Especially Sushmita’s HAIR and 2000s lipstick and brown eyeshadow look. The blueprint. Karishma’s suit, Tabu’s red lip, Saif’s…just everything 😩😍

I also had this vintage song stuck in my head and I just had to edit to it. I find that retro songs pair really well with BTS especially, and interviews second, so I’ll have to think of something for Saif’s Yaar Gadar BTS (that silver jubilee song).

‘Dekh Zara’ | EK THA RAJA

I think Ek Tha Raja might be Saif’s absolute best haircut in all of the 90s. He’s probably so proud of it (bc literally he should be 💅). 1996 was HIS YEAR of peak gorgeousness, exactly between his babygirl (1992-1995) and drugged hottie looks (1997-1999), fashion on point, hair so fluffy, facecard so fine. That expression he makes that’s kinda embarrassed kinda pleased in the middle there is so fucking cute, I might pass out. The *~definition*~€ of PRETTY BOY 🤤🤤(If Saif looks especially hung in those jeans then it’s bc he is 🤭 lmao)

Anyway this isn’t the vintage edit I promised but I do have it on my mind!

SAIF | JAANEMAN JAANE JAAN (1999)

Kya Kehna Saif is actually another breed of hot like I don’t even know how to process it. This song was so good I love filmi depictions of college shenanigans 💥🎸 90s tv and colorblock outfits and bowling alleys, and ofc Saif looking so fucking fine with his sideburns and late 90s rizz. Thinking about editing to more goth/punk/post punk audios in the future so look out🤘🏽

I’ve been ~*~wanting~* and WAITING for my slow ass to finally, actually edit how fucking sexi™️ Saif is in this. The zebra jacket, the hot dance moves and expressions, that fucking black muscle shirt 🥵. Panting clawing at the bars of my enclosure!!! Me when 90s Saif: 👹👹👹

I think this is a really good step in the 2000s Saif direction, esp this song—I’ve been obsessed with this one since I was a teen ngl, and just ahhh it’s so good on him, like SO good that I just had to repeat my edit 3 times in a loop to appreciate each part of the song and how well he fit all of them.

happiest birthday to this mesmerizing man, and the love of my life!! Saif Ali Khan, the prettiest face I’ve ever seen, with all the charm and fashion to boot, has had my life in a chokehold for literally three years now. Insane how badly I still want to edit him. I don’t think I can ever stop 😭 and I wouldn’t even want to. All I hope is that my mutuals will be around for as long as I want to post on here.

I suppose I’ll be making an “alternate universe” edit for each of their movies; Kahin Dhoor for Yeh Dillagi, Keemat (I didn’t give this one a new name partially because I won’t be making an edit of this plot I don’t think, and also, the title is already a perfect name for it), and in the future, for MKTA (I’m tempted to same it Pyaar Se Please Kaho or something in honor of @bollyfavess fic), Tu Chor and Aarzoo.

Edit aesthetics are inspired by @rampawalk - I miss your edits from 2023!! As well as the angsty paragraphs @_au_edits and I shared a few months back about how badly we wanted to write saif/akshay as intensely as we felt for their pairing.

We are WAY too normal about this man 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 and I know missed out on a huge opportunity to Aa-Aa-Aashiqui Mein Teri to Michael Jackson, but there’s so much I haven’t used that I will for sure in the future. Besides, my color grading hides a lot of his actual dance, so please, PLEASE go watch the entire video. I swear, this man has had us in a chokehold for decades, yet we don’t even know who he is lol. Also, this part of “Plastic Beach” by the Gorillaz reminds me so much of Ghosts by MJ that I could be remixed, so I now understand why I was so eager to edit this audio to this man. He is so SEXY. Oh my god.
